I want to win

Last year. And the year before that. And the year before that. And the year before...That’s 11 guys who can play. When was the last time we could legitimately say that? This isn’t a potential group, not a work in progress group, not a young group, not an inexperienced group…..
I just graduated Communication, you get me in contact with Paul and I can put in a good word
that would be beyond stupid...Mulcahy fills a position of desperate need way more than Reeves, ...something something, take pie when pie is a passing

Have heard that Ty has really progressed since the season ended and would not be surprised if he's one of our best players this year.
Also, Dain has lost significant amounts of fat and will "likely be one of the best 5s in the country"
I'd really hope the latter option.Harmon is the one that might be leaving from everything I have heard. If that ends up happening, they will want to get Reeves, Paul, or another pg option

Truly ELITE."likely be one of the best 5s in the country" insert big eye roll
Outside of Cliff and Edey, I would take Dain over any other 5 in the big ten"likely be one of the best 5s in the country" insert big eye roll
Damonte was no angel and had a rep. Mulcahy knew his context and audience.Count me among those who don't want a bush league player on the Illini. Never forget!
Strong statement. Anxious to see his improvement and Rodgers improved ball skills.Outside of Cliff and Edey, I would take Dain over any other 5 in the big ten

Can I get an elite!"likely be one of the best 5s in the country" insert big eye roll
dude, I've been questioning a lot of your statements lately. Indy and Illini0440 are the real onesOutside of Cliff and Edey, I would take Dain over any other 5 in the big ten
outside of those two the B1G isn’t exactly the best conference in terms of centers… I would take Ware over Dain off the top of my head — and also Coleman, who IMO should be our starting 5.Outside of Cliff and Edey, I would take Dain over any other 5 in the big ten

Mady Sissoko, Kel'el Ware, Zed Key, and maybe even Ben Krike.......but Dain "likely be one of the best 5s in the COUNTRY"
It doesn't seem to me to be an Epps-bashing thread. He was enormously promising early in the season and just didn't fit (which is being kind to him.) I feel about him at this point the way I felt about Belo after he left: sad at the unfulfilled potential in O&B, resigned to the high probability that it's a good thing he's no longer in the locker room.
IIRC in the Texas game I kept remarking that he was playing like a grown-a$$ man.
Not necessarily, but I do not think the talent is that far off. Sissoko is a good defender, high energy guy. Key has a similar game to Dainja offensively and a good rebounder. You'd rather have Sissoko and Key over Dain? Seems happy hour started early today.
I bet Dain is eating gallons of cottage cheese after reading the posts on this board .................I really really do.................In other news (regarding our current guys)-
