Thanks. I’ve already heard of him — along with McKenney, Gill and Bell. There's this kid, Jeremiah Fears, you should def keep an EyeoftheIllini on

There was limited possible immediate good news, since they only had one scholarship available. When Dennis went elsewhere, they gambled and took a commitment from Williams -- a risky, high reward move. They are now full; which is probably why they aren't pursuing Mulcahy.I mean I agree to an extent, but since Coleman and TSJ announced they were coming back I don't know how much news that's come out you can really classify as positive.
Just asking what the connection this recruit has to Illini BB ????.............not trying to stir the pot at all , but I didn't see anything with a connection to us ??
Just wondering ......................
What do you think are the chances Fears & Gill sign for the same school? They’re gonna push hard for him … It’ll be a battle …
I will set the Over/Under comments about Fletch with this one to 2.5
I thought this was more widely known and I don't really want to spread any misinformation but from what I understand there is an open court case listing a person named Jeremiah Williams with the same birth date as the basketball player as a person of interest.
The notable part is that is was filed in the same county and the same day as other underage athletes that were involved in the Iowa/Iowa state gambling incident.
Very impressive. The use of both hands, explosiveness and court vision are all stellar.not EYBL, but Gill's on a good trajectory:
The case from May I found had no details. It listed a Jeremiah M Williams born in 2002 as an interested person. There were rumors of his name coming up in a suit with the state of Iowa
I'll take 6'1" 175.Don't worry - Nico's growth plates are open and he is going to show up for first game as 6'4" 200 lb PG

My concern is that we're going to have a 40% free throw shooter at the line in the last two minutes of a game.My biggest fear is last 5 minutes of the game when you really need to be crisp with your passes and ball handling. That's where a true pg can be extremely valuable.
I recall the Virgina game last year where it was close up until those last few minutes where our inexperience at pg really showed compared to their experience at that position.....and that was the difference in the game
I guarantee you if Mulcahy or Reeves or another immediate high impact guard want to come here they will find a way to do it.There was limited possible immediate good news, since they only had one scholarship available. When Dennis went elsewhere, they gambled and took a commitment from Williams -- a risky, high reward move. They are now full; which is probably why they aren't pursuing Mulcahy.
Some act like they can just yank a current player out of summer school and say sorry, go home, we need your scholarship. I have no problem with creaning, if it is done right. That would during spring evals while the undergrad transfer portal is open. Doing it now with the portal closed would be bad optics.
A ride could still open up. The Williams situation is uncertain. I don't think Guerrier and Harmon are on campus. Hearing they are taking summer classes at Oregon and Utah Valley respectively in order to graduate. Not verified though.
Is it time to end the inquiries regarding getting a starting caliber PG on the roster for 2023/2024? Has that ship sailed? They’re gonna push hard for him … It’ll be a battle …
Wasn't Hawkins openly courting Mulcahy on Twitter?Underwood has reportedly consulted with Hawkins and Shannon regarding transfer portal moves this year. Maybe one or both objected to Mulcahy joining the team?
I feel like that's pretty correct assessment of the roster and especially Coleman Hawkins game despite a large portion of the fanbase acting like he's a proven star.Great read.
