my only question about Rodgers practice reports is who is guarding him? In the clips I've seen it has often been Hansberry. Well sorry Amani, but I hope Rodgers can beat a true Fr. PF.

I hope the staff puts Sencire on him a lot and says, if you can get the job done against him, you can do it against anyone you'll run into during the season. Really the only guys we have in Champaign that can give him an idea of what he'll see are Sencire, Shannon, and DGL. I'd assume they want him building that rapport with Shannon offensively, so perhaps it is only Sencire and DGL. Anyone else is likely to be not as quick as who he can expect to see in a game.
My guess is that the staff is protecting Rodgers from Harris solely for the purpose of generating exaggerated practice reports.

The thing that sucks about Ty playing PG is it takes away from what he really could bring to the team. I think he could be an absolute monster this year with a serviceable PG.

We will see how Ty and DGL and Harmon do at PG do in Spain.
Hope it works out. All we can do and it will still be better than last year's shtshow.

I have been incredibly disappointed in Underwood's failure to grab a point guard but it could be worse. As a Bama fan I can tell you I am incredibly bummed about Javon Quinerly leaving on June 25th!!! The only bright spot is that Nate Oats brought in Aaron Estrada, the 2 time Colonial Athletic player of the year, who was going to start over Quinerly. If Quinerly ended up at Illinois I would be very happy. The dude took some games over last year. But, the rumor on Bama boards is that he is going to Seton Hall or Miami. Nate Oats now in on Joe Toussaint as a back up point guard. I wish Underwood recruited as well as and handled the portal as well as Nate Oats.
