Where do we sit with Alston? am assuming well, but assuming has a tendency to bite one in the rear

Where do we sit with Chuck Love? (want, want, want!)

Other '25s we're monitoring closely? (beyond Gill)

It's way early, but where do we sit with Sularski?

wrt the '24 preps, one more (Fears) and we're done, right?

1. Leader

2. Top 3 - but looks promising

3. Phoenix Gill ... Chuck Love ... Melvin Bell ... Bryce Heard ... Colt Langdon ... Aleks Alston ... Niko Bundalo ... Those are our main targets for 2025 ...

4. That is gonna be a battle but we are in it ... If you asked me who was leading as of today ... I would say MSU ...

5. Fears ... Rest of the scholarships will go to the portal ... Potentially a JUCO kid ... I am not allowed to name him yet though ...

awesome update, mucho thanks

WRT '25, who do you think will pop first? I reckon Alston, but that's more of a guess.

Bundalo: do we have a legit shot? kid is kind of a unicorn (reminds me of Buzelis, not as good handles (no slight), slightly taller). Fletch could really help him.

I think for 2025 ... Gill will probably come off the board first but it is a legitimate battle right now between Iowa State, NW, and Illinois ... I like our chances with Alston as well as Chuck Love ... I think that could very well be your 3 man class (which will start to become the norm for Brad) ... 3 guys maybe 4 if it is a development kid that will be here long term and doesn't cost a bunch of $$ ... Brad has taken the lead on Phoenix ... TA with Alston and Chester with Love ...

Bundalo ... We are going to take a shot at him and we have been trying for a while now ... We have been in to see him a couple of times ... We (Chester) have some major connections with the Wildcat Select AAU team he plays for (Buck's AAU team as well) so Chester has tapped into those connections to get us into the race ... But I'd say we are running 5th at best right now ... I am not even confident that we get a visit ...

“because of impermissible benefits he received while playing at Arizona”. So no repercussions for AZ??
Depends on whether Arizona was involved, I suppose. Can players sell their apparel now like what Kofi did?

With the new rules for players getting paid what would be impermissible? Didn’t see that aspect in the article
Has to do with how NIL is handled differently for international players on student visas. But idk how that’s different from what Kofi was able to do, and there’s not much info in any of the new articles about it.

“Kriisa is from Estonia and he played in Lithuania before his time at Arizona. NIL rules for international players are complicated by rules around student visas and the limitations on outside employment for those students.

In 2021, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement released a memo about NIL benefits for international students that said the organization had been "actively monitoring proposed federal and state legislation pertaining to the use of name, image and likeness for student athletes ... The program is working with its partners within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to review how this legislation affects international student athletes."

But a source told ESPN that the NCAA would not get involved if an international student received an NIL deal and it would not be considered impermissible benefits.”
