That's the plan ... Could it change after he commits like it did with Boswell ? Potentially ...

I thought we weren't very likely if he didn't reclassify? Hope we are able to hold on to the "lead" if we do have one.
I also was under this impression. I guess we will see.... Hope reigns eternal, but definitely not going to be holding my breath.

@Indy Illini Fan there was some chatter that Illinois wouldn't be the favorite if he stayed in class of 2025. Hopefully he verbals to Illinois in January 2024 and then we hold on to him and he gets on campus in 2024 or 2025. Maybe he can bring his brother with him

IIRC, insiders were saying that if he did not reclass, then some of the blue bloods would be more likely to swoop in......say KY, Kansas, etc, and then our chances of landing him became much more difficult once the others made an offer.

Nice bunnies for the young man.
I thought he wasn't supposed to be very athletic. I know a free dunk doesn't mean much, but still he has to be reasonably explosive to execute that.
Just watched semis and final of GIBT. CB4 game - dare I say, very reminiscent of of greatest Illini point guard ever.
