Best to throw @illini0440 & @DB11Headband in the mix here as well … And there are others who contribute great info as well …

As for transfers out … I know of one guy who I’d say as of today is likely gone … I expect Dravyn, Moretti, Amani and Buck to all return …

Unless Jakstys comes in and absolutely tears up this summer … Expect a redshirt for him …

As for transfers … We’re already active … We’ve got as much or more NIL than anyone in the Big Ten … Expect 4 transfers in minimum … Potentially 5 …

Someone also mentioned Robbie Avila (Indiana State kid) as a possible transfer … He will likely be following Schertz to his next HC spot … Hearing that could be DePaul …

But I’ll give you guys 3 names to keep an eye on as a transfer target … Ryan Kalkbrenner … Matthew Murrell … Omaha Biliew …
Of course! Apologies to those two for the omission! They are both phenomenal as well. You all provide great info and it's appreciated by all!

could understand Dain moving on with the hit to playing time and recent rulings regarding multiple transfers. Still has made good progress in the orange and blue compared to where he started so definitely like having him around

Joel Goodson

respect my decision™
and very young. almost seems like you're asking for one to dash off in a year or two.

every gambit comes with risk. gotta assess the risk v reward. the reward in this case could be huge. there are tons of frontcourt minutes available next season, plenty for all 3 kids (yeah, I'm assuming Ty will be playing point again)

yes, but experience will be short. If I was to bring in a PF, I think it would be short term guy. I'd love to see a scorer with at least two years, optimally three. I'd also love to see an experience point and move Ty to his natural spot.

My guess with Ty is they'll slot him into whatever position is available outside of C and SG. If Brad can pull it off in the portal, bringing in an elite PG to play alongside Ty as a starter would probably be ideal. That way you have 2 guys on the court at all times you feel comfortable with the ball in their hands. That said, if we do go with Ty next year at PG, we'll definitely need to bring in a stud Wing. Definitely going to be one of those edge of your seat offseasons where if we hit on half of our targets we'll probably be in exceptional shape.

I watched Nick Davidson from Nevada tonight. Sign him up!

Adam Miller, Skky Clark, Jayden Epps, Andre Curbello ...at this point these former Illini are a combined 24 and 23. It appears the Illini are better off with their current bball players. Give Coach Underwood and his staff for forsight and building a strong team.
. . . and that's what "Big Boy" programs do. Move on. The "you don't want to be here, then good luck to you--we'll be fine" type mentality.
