Morez against Cooper Koch tipping off at 8:00
Watching early on, Morez is going to be so good here. Can't wait to see him, Amani and Ty together. Edit: It's crazy how bad some HS teams play help defense! Also, was just at Metamora HS a couple hours ago for my son's archery competition. Shot the only straight 50 in his flight! Any coaches there tonight?

Watching with sound off. This is a heck of a game. Very good job by the officials to quickly huddle and call that an X.

Metamora had this. Man, they had it. Morez part of the reason they no longer do.

Haven't watched previously, but Thornton is a very poorly coached team. They absolutely do not look for Morez as they should, had no idea how to attack a zone, and have no concept of how to play team defense. Let's get Rez here ASAP. He is going to be so good!

Fair. I now see why they've had so many games that were closer than expected. I'm surprised they've done so well in them, given that it's players making plays that pulls them through.

Their guards were hitting everything. Not sure why they would have passed into a zone which was basically double teaming Morez while they were making their shots?

Their defense was not great, but Metamora does that to a lot of teams.

Not sure if this is the thread or the time to start talking about possible portal transfers for next year but after our game yesterday, I watched a little of the San Jose State versus Boise State game. SJSU has a junior named Myron (MJ) Amey Jr. and that dude had an amazing game. Had 30 in a losing effort. Averages 15 a game. He’s only 6’2” but he impressed the heck out of me. He was super fast. Well built. Can rebound. Averages over 4 rebounds a game and 3 assists. Good assist to turnover ratio. Has shot 35-37% from 3. Had 5 made threes last night.

He just seemed like a tough fast dude that Underwood would like. Who knows if he’ll transfer for his senior year.

Nice choice not using listening to Metamora Homer. Tough listen.

How many players do we think we will lose next year?
I see 6, the 4 seniors, Coleman and Dain.

Ty, Goode, Harris, DGL, Hansberry, Moretti, and the freshman.

We will definitely be hitting the portal hard. Lots of minutes available for the right guys.
