Was wondering , after what the osu AD said about paying recruits to visit and stated " up to $ 5 ,000 " , does the Illini pay for a recruit visit ?????..............asking for myself , for NL # 3 and all other NL's...........we really really are ....................

I’m betting they do. Both seem more like fours but unless we bring in a transfer big they fit the five out system. Just not sure about our defensive system because we are going to sacrifice size in playing DGL and still have a problem with a big center.
Hasn't Morez exclusively played the 5 since James Brown left a couple years ago and didn't Amani practically also only play the 5 at least at the end of high school though?

Feels like Indy is saying that while Magwood may be cooling on us, we also arent dumb and are backing off from him. Jeremiah is playing with Indy Heat specifically to play with Chuck Love.

I could be dead wrong, but that’s what it feels like Indy is implying.

Don’t know the relative values of each player but having DGL, Fears, Moretti, and Butler would seem to cover the PG position. Obviously two PG’ are not too many but having that many smaller guards playing together would present some defensive problems. (Butler is larger but still undersized for this year). Like the size this year!
Houston starts a guy who is 6’8”, one who is 6’7” and 3 guys 6’3” and under. Defense has not been a problem.
If you have a bunch of dogs, defense will take care of itself.

Kansas 43, Houston 28. Think I’ll wait for the end of the season to make a judgement on that.
Okay… They are number one in the nation in opponent fg%, despite being short.
As far as losing at Kansas…no one has won there yet this season.

Did no realize Rutgers had a banner recruiting class coming in.

Here are the Scarlet Knights’ five recruits in the 2024 class:

  • Guard Dylan Harper: Five stars, No. 2 overall
  • Forward Ace Bailey: Five stars, No. 3 overall
  • Forward Lathan Sommerville: Three stars, No. 124 overall
  • Forward Bryce Dortch: Three stars, No. 137 overall
  • Forward Dylan Grant: Three stars, No. 159 overall

The Scarlet Knights’ five-member recruiting class is now ranked No. 3 nationally by 247Sports' Composite rankings, behind only perennial powers Duke and Kentucky.

Well, those 2 schools aren’t fighting for a natty this year. Are ya picking up what I’m putting down??? Breaks my heart, too! /s
