It’s almost as if a lookalike, Matthew Modine from Vision Quest decided to be a hoopster instead of a grappler.

Like the idea of a 6’9” center, power forward and wing who can all shoot. OK with a 6’6” PG.

If Holst was rated, he’s gotta be a 5-star right? Looks like a top 25 guy to me

Sure, how do you feel about them as opposed to Kofi, Ayo, and Trent though?
Honestly, pretty much the same. If we made a Final Four, I don’t know, could be more. So, if we got the #1 player in the country, made the Final Four, and he left for the NBA, you would like him less than guys that are here for 3 years?

I like good players and I like winning. You need program guys for stability, but I don’t like them anymore than anyone else.

I get it. I love having culture tough as nails guys. But I don't care if you are a 1 year or 4 year player, as long as you come here to play 120% for the beloved. If you are here only for the NIL and yourself then don't let the door hit you in the behind when you are done.. I would hate to be a DGL type player.. Kid has obviously bought into Fletch re-sculpting his body and Brads defense first to earn minutes. But if you are him what would you do? Trust Brad? Trust your family? Does he realize in his own mind that you just can't appear and expect 20+ minutes as a freshman? I think the kid has TF quality written all over him hope he is here for the long road..

I agree about playing hard. Matthew Mayer wasn’t my favorite. I would trust Brad and Fletch. He’s improved this year physically and defensively.

Here's a highlight from a recent Jason Jakstys game against Metea Valley. He was doubled for a lot of the game but made several key plays down the stretch to help Yorkville hang on for the win.

Obviously needs to put on muscle but you can see the length and he has good hands.

I get Ethan Happ vibes from Wiscy

Kid badly needs some time with Fletch. Not as athletic as I thought.

Just curious about the athletic comment.

What were you expecting?

He looked plenty athletic on the steal and slam, and the block shot at 6’11

Edit: Nevermind

Doesn’t seem like a high energy guy in this clip. Conditioning?
