Jake Davis should announce soon.

Jeremiah Fears is our #1 recruiter for 2025.

Hell of a season - amazing group of guys and we will be back here more often than not under Brad.
I apologize for not including you in my insider question. Any word on Hamer? Hopefully he gets the boot

Watching Hill’s highlights, doesn’t look overly explosive or athletic. Looks like he backs guys down. Good midrange game. Looks like he can play make some. A lot of Domask to his game.

But he’s 6’4 185 vs 6’6 220 for Domask. I don’t know that he will be able to booty ball consistently at the P5 level. And only 28% from 3 so can’t space the floor.

We already have Ty and Sencire who can’t stretch the floor. Think we need shooters.

You gotta have shooters at the guard spots anymore. The new landscape of college hoops dictates that.
Isaacs shot nearly 38% from 3 as a freshman on high volume and is a 85% career free throw shooter.

Was bad this year on high volume but signs would point to that improving and him being a good shooter.

The bigger question mark is the off the court situation. Which you would think the entire athletic department might be hesitant after just going through the Shannon situation.

Interesting comments from Coleman after the game. "I feel like it's my last in an Illinois uniform."

Fine player, lucky to have him, helped hugely to bring his team and Illini fans a great season.

I guess he didn't need any more time to think that over. Very decisive-sounding.

If there had been any lack of clarity on this earlier, the denial of Cam Spencer's waiver for the exact same situation as Domask a couple of weeks ago ended it.
Different situation. Spencer played in the end of the year and conference tourney.

One of the stipulations of a medical hardship waiver is not playing any games after the mid point of the season.

Spencer doesn't meet that requirement. Domask does.

Exactly why I think we stay away after what happened this year
I'm all about backing your guy and supporting your guy like we did for TSJ.. but I don't know about signing up for this side show from the start. Just my .002 and in no way comparing this situation which seems worse to TSJ.

I absolutely love AJ Store's game. He's got the size and skill set to be a problem for other teams, especially paired with more talent around him.
I particularly like the "if you can't beat them, join them" approach. Storr would be a great addition in orange and blue.

He'd be a great addition without doubt. I just hope we get a couple of guys with guts and that are all about winning. Not just "me to the league ASAP".

Yes ... This is an important piece of info ... However I have been told it is an absolute non issue ...

I can say this ... Look back at who transferred from Texas Tech right when this event became public and that should give you some more info as to what happened ...

The legal age of consent in the Bahamas is 16 ... The female in question was 17 at the time of this situation and it was consensual according to my sources ...

Also - This occurred in the Bahamas but some allege it had been going on at Tech ... There is a 3 year rule in Texas regarding sexual acts (17 with 20 is okay) ...

All of that to say ... Non issue ... But wanted to provide a little context as to why ...

Agreed. I really hope TSJ is completely innocent. But regardless, the University did a great job of protecting themselves with how the suspension/injunction worked out. Signing this dude would undo that protection in my opinion.

I would hope Whitman vetoes this one.

Yes, I remember. It is not a surprise. Not everyone knows how locked in Coleman is to his future in basketball, so I thought --- as a public service, lol -- I would underscore this comment. :)

I’ll just say that I’ll be sitting at home with more free time in the evenings and more money in my pocket if he suits up for the Illini next year.

That add would define our culture as something I don’t want anything to do with.
