Saw some posts on an Arizona message board mentioning off the court issues with Boswell. Any insiders or anyone else have any idea what that’s about?
Some comments I read earlier in the year suggested that Boswell had a reputation for enjoying the social aspect of college a little too much; which shouldn't be surprising for someone who has yet to turn 19.

I think the argument is that May wouldn't have gone there without those promises.
And mine is that I think Michigan thinks too highly of themselves, even after two absolutely terrible basketball seasons, to bend to a coach from what they view as a lower-level school.

May returned all his talent from his Final Four run and didn't do much with it. He knew he needed to jump before the window closed on him. I don't think his bargaining position was as strong as OP was implying.

It’s pretty well known that he had offers from Vanderbilt and Louisville. He absolutely had his choice.

If that's the case, that doesn't bode well with us keeping Sencire from an odds perspective. That was my gut feel when he redshirted, that it was probably more likely to happen than not based on how we attack the transfer portal. And while I'm glad we'll be bringing in great experienced talent, I'll be really sad if and when he does leave. He was my favorite player last year, will be hard seeing him not play in orange and blue.
I am sure the staff has made it clear we need shooters and if Rodgers is the favorite son - playing Rodgers and Harris at the same time will be tough. Not impossible but based on this year - the roster and everyone else understands the impacts of roster construction.

I may be a minority here, but I watched a number of FAU games this season and I'm not a huge fan of Goldin's game. I'd prefer we'd look in a different direction.

I'm assuming he's UM bound because of May. That said, Vlad's offensive/defensive rating splits are erotic. He's +28 over an average of 100 possessions both last and this season. It's not easy being a big who can't shoot from 3 and being that much a difference maker on both sides.

He was right around 55% which is pretty close to 47% is it not? Sophomore yr. I didn’t say he was sub 50%. I just alluded that be wasn’t very good either. This was basically Dains 2nd yr.
Yeah, not great, but with a game on the line I'll take that 8% greater likelihood of seeing points go on the board. Every time this year he went to the line I had visions of Shaun Pruitt losing the game against Indiana, clanking free throws in the final minute of that game. And I'll take the guy whose career
average was 61%, you can have the 51% career player whose FT percentage declined each year he played.

Boswell is the real deal. Fletch and the staff will get help him reach new heights. He isn’t even 19 yet. He’s a bonafide PG that can run a fast paced offense and still be steady. Shooting numbers from 3 already at 38% and should improve. Sign me up 10 outta 10 times.

I guess you could make the argument that Hill is a good midrange player, and we could have used that against UConn and/or Purdue?

But that seems to go entirely against Brad’s philosophy. Our shot charts usually look like an analytics geek’s wet dream.

Think we need floor spacers and/or athletes. Would take booty ball but not sure 6’4 185 will get it done in booty ball actions at the P5 level. Those are Fletcher Loyer measurables.

That said if we get him please, prove me wrong.

I'm going to need convincing on the Bowling Green dude that doesn't involve saying that he averages a lot of points per game. I can't shake 29% from 3.
Game is very Domask like….good around the rim, solid turn around and in the post, has good form don’t worry about his shooting numbers as much. 5 resounds and almost 3 assists per game doesn’t hurt either.
