This dude was really good. I remember driving through heavy snow to see him play in HS, to talk to Snacks about the kid's recruitment and I was SO excited to have this uber-talented kid (Jerome Richmond) join the Illini. And he was every bit as talented as advertised.
But he heartbreakingly had really serious issues.
My (wicked) point? Be wary, wary, wary of character issues when recruiting. Nothing makes a coach's career more than the talent he/she recruits. And yet nothing is more likely to crash a team than less-than-stellar character. (This is a reading test! How many will not pass it, I wonder?)

Ryan Conwell would be incredible. Avila would be pretty good too. But it's all speculation at this point. Insiders on this board seem to be pointing at Boswell and Storr as the next two big transfers Brad will be bringing in. Just gotta trust and wait at this point.
