To be honest, I trust Brad and the staff. They made a lot of right reads from names that were not huge names last portal season.

I’d rather try to get an Every Day Guy who wants to win and be a teammate rather than a guy who is more talented and wants a bag.

I’ll wait till it all shakes out, but it sure will be exciting till then.

Better yet, look at TS%: Maddox 58.6% , Hill 51.4%
Again just to play devil's advocate, Hill was first team all MAC, Maddox was second team. Hill has the higher rebounding and assist rate, and gets to the line almost twice as much.

And his interested parties list is no joke either

I'm not turning my nose up at Hill. But I stand by the idea of Maddox as the better fit.

Do you think Terrance Shannon was the guy who was a good teammate and wanted to win guy or the more talented one??

A non-Illinois one that’s interesting… Danny Wolf and Vlad Goldin just followed each other. Would they really team up at Michigan? Seems like an odd fit.
Michigan certainly seems to think they'll get Wolf.

Can we go back to guessing which players in the final 4 are hitting the portal?

Imagine a front court of Coleman Hawkins and Grant Nelson. (Highly unlikely, I know)

I have no idea if any of them will be entering the portal, but if we get anyone from Alabama, there's 3-4 players I'd prefer over Nelson.

Respectfully disagree. Hill is fine, Maddox is multiple tiers a better player at the high major level IMO. Hill is high usage, always with the ball in his hands driving. Maddox can be used off the ball due to his elite shooting and also is a much better ball handler

I'd be curious to hear people's thoughts on starting Hansberry at the 4 next year (or maybe Rez? Can he shoot 3s at all to the extent that teams wouldn't be able to just dare him to shoot in a deep drop like they do vs Ty?) or do we need to give him 1 more year before he's ready to start? (I'm also assuming we get a starting 5 in the portal)

Amani is a baller. Whether or not he starts, he should earn significant minutes. Can he play the 4? Does a bear poop in the woods? I hope like hell his back trouble is behind him. Injury would be the only thing holding him back from being an impact player next season.
