Think a change of scenery is what he is looking for ... AZ also has a super crowded back court ... Tommy is a unique guy and I don't think he got along very well with Kylan ... Kylan also got all the blame that Caleb Love should've gotten at AZ ... That took a toll on him ...

And don't under estimate the draw for him to come home ... NIL would be great ... He has family here ... And Fears is coming ... That's a big draw for him ...

Obviously Kylan wants to get to the NBA but I think he knows he likely has multiple years to play in college before he takes that step ...

I hate to be pessimistic and I hope I'll eat my words....but this lineup feels a little underwhelming compared to our lineup from this year as well as the ideas that have been thrown around on these threads. Obviously replacing TSJ, Domask and Coleman is a nearly impossible task. A bit undersized, offense wouldn't be as prolific with Ty and Booth on the floor. Boswell is a great PG but not a huge, consistent scorer. Maddox looks great but expecting him to fill the shoes of Domask is a tough ask...I thought early on it was stated he would be the 6th man. That leaves Storr as our go-to. He's great, but does he have enough of a supporting cast? In Brad we trust I suppose.

Goode, Davis, and Harris can be penciled in as role players since they all bring at least one skill(shooting or defense) that can make them relevant.

Hansberry didn't play much but was a highly touted recruit and did at least showcase some strength and shooting ability. Then Morez is the highest recruit since Ayo.

All that being said, injuries happen, guys won't pan out and will get buried. Maybe I'm wrong but it feels like a team that will stay in the top 25ish, but I don't think they will would a conference, or make a deep run.

5 seed and sweet 16 upside imo. Very solid roster but I don't see a true difference maker for next year outside of Storr. I could be wrong but it would take big jumps from a couple of Booth, Boswell, Ty, White, or Morez being unbelievable as a freshman(like one and done lottery pick).

Our 1-3 is as good as anyone in the country… so that’s a positive.

Ty & Luke will be in their 3rd year in the program… both contributing on a decent & great team as fresh & soph’s

That’s 5 guys that we know we can plug in & play with…

Add 2 more in DGL & Amani who will no longer be freshmen in the program…

The bandit…. 🦌…. Makes 8….

Morez is a fringe 5 star freshman big….

Booth, Davis & Tre IMO are the wild cards… but all with some upside…

I see a lot of options & probably 10 guys at minimum that have an opportunity to make a difference next year…

I don’t like how small and young we will be…

The rotation will be right about 8 guys, just like it nearly always is. The psychology of rotations rarely (not never) works out in a way that allows more than 8 guys to be comfortable. At least that is what I think I have seen.

I wouldn’t consider them small but we’re gonna be fine, maybe defensively it could affect a bit but we know what defense we have gotten from small guards like dgl and buck

I'm not too worried about short guards when they are EDGs ... Trent was short ... Feliz was short ... Worked out pretty, pretty good ...

Saw quite a bit of White at USC, and thought he actually was decent as a freshman. He started most of the season. He has the athleticism to guard positions 2-4. Decent handles and rebounding. Outside shot not good. It was a head-scratcher when he left USC for Louisville, and that move clearly didn’t pan out. If he commits to a reserve role and is an EDG, this could be a good add. If he’s coming in thinking he’s an NBA prospect deserving starter minutes, that will be a big problem in the locker room.

It has everything to do with him having the worst attitude on the court for a team that had team-wide issues with attitude and effort. Given the views of most Louisville fans on this signing and what I saw defensively from him when I watched Louisville play earlier this season, the concerns expressed are more than reasonable. Character counts. Whether it's from your starters or your bench guys, bad psyche has a negative effect on team chemistry. Hopefully he will prove the doubters wrong, but it's insulting to the intellect of any reasonable observer to call the doubts on this signing unreasonable.

Well I don't know what the coaching philosophy was at Louisville but maybe they were a team that didn't value defense very much and thought they could just out score everyone. I mean Clark was there leading scorer/chucker and he wasn't very good defensively while at Illinois. I saw someone on Louisvilles board also said the ball stopped when it gets to White. That's what happens when all your teammates are shoot first and pass only when in trouble. We suffered from that last year here at Illinois. A lot of guys all looking to get their own shot. That's why this year's team was such a pleasure to watch.

I'm not crapping on Boswell or Maddox, I just think it should probably be one or the other. No NCAA champion since 2016 has started more than one player shorter than 6'3. If you want to win big, your best bet is to have size and length on the perimeter. The last team to do so was Duke in 2015 when they started Quinn Cook 6'2 and Tyus Jones 6'1.

Feliz was 5"11 Trent maybe 6". I get your point tho
