It's awesome that it's looking like he's coming back.

(also pretty cool look into some practice stuff as someone who's never seen one)

Some of you are acting like we're getting a 1st team AA back. He's a great kid and an embodiment of EDG but there is a reason why he redshirted in a year where we desperately needed a PG.

I think him seeing Jace not coming allowing him to make the commitment to return.

Maybe Jase decommitting has something to do with him coming back ???

Wow if he can do that he may play his way into starting line up. Luke, Ty, Sencire, Amani and DGL. Morez and any portal guys will have to fight their way onto the starting lineup. I really liked what I saw of Amani in UCONN game. No fear and nailed a couple 3 pointers. Luke improved quite a bit from his freshman year with better rebounding and great hustle. Ty had 4 games with +10 rebounds and showed nice touch around the hoop. Need to develop free throw line jumper, I think he can do it based on his improved form on free throws. Just 1000 shots a day like TSJ. DGL was under control in BTT and NCAA making good contributions. If he can improve his shot he could be our next Alfonso Plummer.

I can tell he has worked a ton on his shot by the way his FT shooting looked on that video.......if I remember right he had a quirky handle when he released the ball on FT's.......that video showed him releasing the ball with his fingers and a beautiful follow through..........

Hope he gets 20 + mpg if that video is any representation of his approach to offense now......impressive , to say the least.....

Minutes are earned on the court ... Not handed out over the phone ...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this isn't universal for BU, is it? For example, I assume we made promises to Ayo and Skyy regarding playing time in order to get them to commit. So my assumption is that depending on the caliber of player, BU might be more inclined to provide upfront guarantees of sorts. With the way things have been trending in high school recruiting and the transfer portal, seems likely to me that a coach may be forced into this from time to time.

My take is that he's trying to make himself look good and like he's supporting the kid ...

Which I am as well ... He's a young man who is free to make his own choices ... He chose to leave ... Wish him the best ...

But when you and your family tells the program that you're scared he isn't going to get PT and then demand certain amount of MPG or you want out of your NLI ?? That's SOFT ... No way around it ...

Prime Example: You think when we brought in Mark Smith that Trent wasn't worried about his role ? He went out there and took it from Mark and look what happened ? Trent became a LEGEND ... At least to me ...

Trent Frazier aint soft ... Brad aint soft ... And frankly if you want to be soft ... This ain't the place for you ... 🤷‍♂️

Minutes are earned on the court ... Not handed out over the phone ...

We were his ONLY P5 offer ... He got that 4th star and all of a sudden he thinks he can toss around demands ... When the only reason he got that 4th star was because he was committed here ..... If he committed to UCSB you thinking he getting that 4th star ??

Damage control from the staff more than anything else.

Go back and read what Brad Underwood and Chester Frazier said about the kid when he signed. Pretty sure they didn't use the word "soft".

Stay closer to home. Make more money than at Illinois. Get on the court earlier. Aren't those legitimate reasons for making a decision about your own life?

Damage control from the staff more than anything else. It's been a pattern to trash kids who make unpopular moves. Sad and pretty immature.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he's not going to make more money than at Illinois
