Crazy thing is the kid just turned 18 ... Most people don't realize that ...

Fletch and Sanderson will turn this kid into a TANK ...

If I had to guess our 13 for next year ...

Guards:

Boswell, Maddox, Buck, DGL

Wings:

Storr, JD, Tre, Goode, Ty

Bigs:

Booth, Rez, Amani, Jakstys
I know predicting starting lineups is tough when the team isn't even committed yet, hasn't practiced together yet, and haven't worked with Fletch yet, but would you guess the starting frontcourt would be?

I'm assuming Rez, Amani, Booth, and Ty would get the lion's share of the 4/5 minutes...maybe toss Tre (and maybe Luke) a few mins here and there at the 4?

Some proven talent mixed with some high upside keys. Staff has done a great job of unleashing upside guys (when they are bought in) Wish they had another foreign trip to help gel

No. You cannot say something like "dishonest take" to the OP and then use "evidence" that is only substantiated by some social media posts of the fanbase of the dumpster fire program he is leaving. That is like me asking Philip Morris to give me their opinion on cigarettes causing lung cancer.

Furthermore, no one should hold it against any young man transferring out of the Louisville program. These guys took a chance on Payne and it did NOT work out for them. EVERYONE (except maybe one person) is leaving that program.

I am going to sound like a broken record here, but I think BU and staff has earned our trust on eyeing talent and putting together a team. I also understand this is a message board and everyone is allowed to voice different opinions, but that doesn't mean there aren't stupid opinions (like the earth is flat, English should be spoken in every country, or that Showgirls was not an Oscar-worthy film). We will never agree on the perfect roster for the Beloved, but we can, at least, give BU and staff a little credit.
This is from the Athletic's analysis. Is that a social media post or would you consider it more credible? I'm going to give this a chance and withhold criticism. I just reiterate that we created a strong culture this year. We need to maintain it.

At Louisville, White did basically the same thing on offense while strangely providing none of the defense that made him such an effective player at USC. I’m genuinely not sure what happened. His effort level wasn’t there regularly, particularly in transition defense.

If this is the 13, my starting 5 before camp would be:

Boswell - Maddox - Storr - Ty - Rez

I'd say the starters would be:

Boswell
Maddox
Storr
Ty
Booth

Bench:
Tre
Rez
Amani
Goode/Davis
DGL/Buck battling it out for guard minutes

I thought the coaches were done running out a bunch of short guards. With the guards listed here, the average height is 6'2. That's a little disappointing.
6'2 is not a short for guard in college basketball. The only one in the bunch who I'd consider short is DGL.

Boswell and Maddox aren't as tall as Domask or TSJ, but they're really thick dudes. Strong. They would make a formidable backcourt. Maddox is a career 40% 3pt shooter on over 400 tries. You'd be plenty long at the other positions.

I highlighted the portion I had issue with, which was speaking of him having the worst attitude and giving the least amount of effort on the team. These social media posts were posted earlier in the thread.

One thing that's striking to me with this list is the in-state guys that are being targeted in the portal.

Boswell - Champaign
Maddox - Chicago Heights
Storr - Rockford
Hill - Rockford
Amos - Chicago

If this plays out our marketing team must be salivating at the in-state content potential.

Hmmmm, all IL homegrown talent ....sound familiar? For some reason, I feel like we have seen this before.........
