Brad is keeping with his length and size imperative. Lot of 6-4-6’8 athletes in there.

Boswell/Storr should keep us in the top half of the Big 10. Landing those 2 are the key to having a successful season next year.

Not sure how Rodgers/White/Hansberry all fit on the team tho.

Storr, JD, Tre, Goode, Ty

Bigs:

Booth, Rez, Amani, Jakstys

agree, Moretz was ready for college ball this year. Between now and October he is going to take off to another level.

Just a guess from me. We are building a roster that can average 90+ points per game. What high school ballers do not want to go to a college that plays NBA style ball. I feel there are a ton of W's in our future.

FWIW my buddy who is a DIE HARD Louisville fan said he thinks Tre White is a good player he just needs to be on a better team and not be THE guy. Was forced to do too much at Louisville

So the plan is to ride it out with the young guys in the backcourt? I mean I believe Morez and Amani would make it a top half backcourt in the Big Ten but they’re still young.

All looks good, except think White is in the mix with Goode/Davis. Can see small ball PF with Goode/Davis as well.

Can see another true BIG portal transfer and Morez and Hansberry splitting minutes at Center and PF.

No monster in the league like we’ve had recently. No Edey, No Kofi, No Garza, No TJD. Michigan State is playing Booker at the 5 he’s thin, OSU is playing Okpara at the 5 he’s thin, right now Minnesota is playing Garcia at the 5 and he’s a PF. Maybe we don’t need to add a true big. There is a reason we let Dainja walk.

it depends what your ultimate goal is. I would call the national championship match up exhibit A.

Since there’s been a lot of talk about big men recently, Indiana State’s Robbie Avila is in transfer portal.

Never seen him play. Is he any good and, if so, is he someone the illini can target and possibly get?

No. You cannot say something like "dishonest take" to the OP and then use "evidence" that is only substantiated by some social media posts of the fanbase of the dumpster fire program he is leaving. That is like me asking Philip Morris to give me their opinion on cigarettes causing lung cancer.

Furthermore, no one should hold it against any young man transferring out of the Louisville program. These guys took a chance on Payne and it did NOT work out for them. EVERYONE (except maybe one person) is leaving that program.

I am going to sound like a broken record here, but I think BU and staff has earned our trust on eyeing talent and putting together a team. I also understand this is a message board and everyone is allowed to voice different opinions, but that doesn't mean there aren't stupid opinions (like the earth is flat, English should be spoken in every country, or that Showgirls was not an Oscar-worthy film). We will never agree on the perfect roster for the Beloved, but we can, at least, give BU and staff a little credit.

As a longtime mostly lurker (devout follower of the old adage "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt"), I'm very familiar with the, ahem, wide variety of opinions on this board and the apparent lack of restraint in posting them.

Further, I'm genuinely in awe of our insiders' overall patience and tact when responding to the repeated queries and opinions, some of which border on short-sighted idiocy. You go above an beyond, expending a great deal of time and effort.

Your efforts should be rewarded. Therefore, I move the board impose a 'SLAP' fee: Shortsighted-Lazy-And-Pointless Fee under the following guidelines:
1 Fee to be imposed solely at the discretion of, and payable to, genuine insiders
2 Amount to be determined by said insiders, increasing with each repeat imposition
3 Payment details to be worked out privately

They were underwhelmed when Damask was announced too. Everyone needs to trust Brad’s process. He hasn’t disappointed us yet when it comes to portal recruitment.

I suppose message boards were created to give mass hysteria a place. The reactions still show a lack of trust in the coaching staff’s ability to choose the right players.
