Myles Rice to Indiana….. you’ve gotta be sh**ing me. Now Indiana and Purdue have the best PGs in the conference. Great. Just great.
Boswell is good but he’s not even on the same level as a guy like B Smith or Rice. I have him as about the same level as Tony Perkins last year but slightly worse on the offensive side
Myles Rice and Kylan Boswell are both really good and I am excited to see them do battle.

And it's good for college basketball when the schools that care about the sport are good. Bring it on Hoosiers.

About 40% of the top 25 transfers have already committed to schools. We have huge shoes to fill. Now it seems Storr and Maddox seem to be gone.

Should we be concerned? Insiders were taking about how we're going to kill it in the transfer portal and so far our only two commitments are 104 and 237...

Myles rice shot 27percent for 3 and 43 percent overall. His assist to turnover was not good. Why would anyone would think he is way better than Boswell?
Way better is definitely excessive, but he is higher on 247 and was a much bigger cog in the engine of WSU than Boswell was at Arizona.

Boswell is a more talented player, but all he's been so far is an inconsistent "luxury" role player.

Rice can just be what he is, and has 3 years to play, great get for Indiana.

Also I think Rice is like 3 years older?

According to who?

Enjoy this time of uncertainty and trust that the staff as they have in years past will deliver. In pre-NIL years what was this board doing in mid April?

Pretty cool that it is as active as it is.

How does Woodson do it? IU was a dumpster fire for most of the year.
At first, I thought you were asking how Woodson manages to hold onto his job... then I thought you were asking how he is able to produce such mediocre results with some decent talent on the team... but now I realize you were asking about recruiting.

If we land Boswell and Booth and can hang onto what we have (is Hansberry leaving a foregone conclusion?) and STILL be sitting on Storr type money that we can go get one more piece with, we're looking pretty darned good.

Boswell, Tre White and Morez Johnson are a heck of an injection of just raw talent, no slight on Booth either.

It's just going to be a totally different team, with totally different strengths and weaknesses. I already wonder how much Brad is going to enjoy coaching this perhaps more, ahem, enigmatic bunch, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

Child please. Rice shoots 27% from 3 and averaged like 3.4 assists to 2.6 TOs or something like that. I love his story and think he’s a good player. I think Boswell will be just as good. Have to think Rice is like 21-22 and Boswell is like 18-19

Losing TSJ, Domask, Coleman, Dain, Hansberry
Gaining Boswell, Booth, Tre, Davis

Hate to say it but that's a bottom half Big Ten team unless Brad works some serious magic(which is possible)

You need one more in the Storr role (again, you've gotta think about this in budgetary terms, our biggest salary cap slot so to speak is not accounted for), and losing Hansberry would suck and raise the specter of being too small.

But no, that's really not a bottom half Big Ten team even so. It COULD be if things go wrong, but the expectation level should be above that and the ceiling is high.

Remember, if Storr gets poached by Kentucky or whatever, I believe that makes Braden Smith the only returnee from the All-B1G First or Second teams.

We are going to be young though. It is the nature of the business now that we have to pretend that everyone we recruit is a lottery pick in 2025, but that's total fakery, we are going to want to bring the team we're creating this offseason back.

Gaining Rez also....but I'm not seeing a lot of scoring, I would guess more the 4 to 8 position....but I also trust Brad so we shall see when all said and done.

You’re missing (at least) two HIGH impact transfers in from your list.

Just because things look a certain way on April 13 doesn’t mean they are going to look that way a week from now, a month from now, etc. Let’s stop thinking this way plz.

Sooo much to still play out in the portal due to coaching changes/grad transfers/etc. I think we have most transfers in by the end of the month, but I think we bring in an ace or two after May 1.
