What makes an "insider post?" I'm genuinely curious about that.

The better question is what makes an insider? There are about 4 or 5 here who clearly have some kind of access to developing information. Usually, that comes from having informed sources, or knowing people with sources.

Years ago, I knew someone with a source inside the DIA. Back then, I learned quite a bit before it became public.

I call things how I see them, these insiders have been saying Boswell is coming forever, well before he was even in the portal.

Beyond that, it’s entertaining in what would usually be a boring time for basketball. I’m sure a lot of people are like me and they sign on here to scan and look for the insider nuggets, it makes the offseason fun. Stop being jerks just because you can.

I agree in general, but these posts about starting lineups before the whole roster is in place are pretty silly.

Agree that predicting starting lineups at this point is ridiculous and irrelevant -- it doesn't matter who starts and who doesn't.

All that matters is what we experts think the minutes distribution will be, and we are WAY behind on those predictions!

Someone close enough to the program tthat has information that the general public isn't privy to. These insiders on this site have proven themselves repeatedly

It's just kind of a joke the level of which some here use vague language and everyone annoits them as "insiders". I mean, anyone can do that. Miss Cleo made a lot of money out of it.

Again, if it someone makes you feel like you have some "inside" track on the program, so be it. I just can't help noticing that a couple of the "insiders" here are slightly behind what is broken on other platforms. Almost like they are just a little quicker than you at reading stuff?

How will Coach Underwood and his staff know what needs to be done without input from the world-wide distribution of experts (such as myself) assembled on Illinois Loyalty! Fer Pete's sake, there are only what, 5 or 6 Illinois basketball coaches trying to get the job done and I can assure you that them fellas is outnumbered without our help!
