Mayo on the outside and then toasted is an absolute…… game changer!!

On a different note: peanut butter on pancakes or waffles?
Imma gonna blow all your minds..... Peanut Butter French Toast!!!!
Was the bomb growing up, and 60 years later, still far & away the best! I've had countless folks try and 1 up this method, all failures! 2 ways I make it. 1 is if you aren't in a hurry.... Lightly toast one side of 2 slices of bread in pan or on griddle. Put PB on both toasted sides, put them together. THEN dip or even soak it in egg batter and toast both sides until crispy, smother in Syrup of your choice..... 2nd way if time is of essence, just make a PB sandwich, dip it in egg batter and crisp both side and smother in syrup...... Either way is melted Peanut butter syrupy goodness !!! Thank me later !

EDIT: Regarding the mayo... ( I LOVE Mayo! Miracle Whip of course, being a Central IL boy) I've only recently tried the mayo/toast thing, I like it! I'll have to try that variation maybe next time I do the PB French Toast thing...... ;-)

Does the coaching stuff even want a TSJ type clone player? As much as I loved watching TJ go off and carry the shoulder on his back on multiple occasions, if he's cold or taken out, then so is vast majority of our offense. It was TJ and Marcus this year but it was Ayo and Kofi before as well.

Watching UConn decimate us (and others) with multiple options was impressive and I wouldn't mind having a much more balanced team than a clear obvious #1 option.

Of course I'm not a NCAA BB coach so I trust Brad and co know what they're doing
I don't think Brad is going to match Hurleys scheme to create that many open looks but UConn decimated us because of Clingan.

Take Clingan out and Shannon and Domask win that game. They couldn't stop either one from getting to the basket or really anyone else but it didn't matter because Clingan erased everything within 10 feet of the basket.

It worked for us once too:

The car I drove while at home in high school and when home from UI was my great aunt's 1972 Buick Skylark. A 350 cu inch V-8. A beast and it was no muscle car. I recall flooring it into a headwind on an entrance ramp to I-74 once to test its acceleration. The aerodynamics were so poor that it felt as if it were going to become airborne. Eight miles to the gallon city, 14 highway if I was lucky. AM radio with an FM converter. Massive chrome bumpers. Weighed 3600 lbs. Good times.

Am fully aware that this belongs in a separate cheese/car thread.

So... where do we stand with Storr... er... Maddox?
I blew out my ACL the spring before I started at the U of I (1982) and the only car we had at the time was an '81 VW Rabbit with a manual tranny. My wife and I were living on base at Chanute in Rantoul, so I had to have a car to commute to campus as I was wearing a cast from my hip to my toes, so driving the Rabbit was not a player, and my wife was working rotating shifts as an AF nurse. We bought an old '72 Chrysler Newport with the 400ci V8 and I drove that all the next year. I didn't stop for gas . . .I docked for fuel, and you could turn the Queen Mary inside the turn radius of that car. The worst part was there were no provisions for handicapped parking for students, so I typically parked at the outer lots, and poled my way all around campus on crutches that entire semester. If you saw a 6'4" guy with short brown hair on crutches that semester it was likely me 🤪

Well we’re going to need a new scoring perimeter target, stat
I watched the highlight reel for Tre White again. Looks to me like a serious impact player. On defensive rebounds, he really looks to push the ball, which is Underwood ball. He scores on all three levels and is very athletic. And the good part is, the film shows him playing against superior competition including Kentucky, UNC and others; it's not summer league crap. I think he can be an impact player and the perfect piece in an uptempo mode. Oh, and has already SIGNED.
