One huge step forward this season and now big one back. Hmm.More portal losses and potentially another coach. Crazy.

if this is true, I'm blaming Trilly and no one else.Trilly Donovan just said that Coleman portaling has some legs…
I know especially since we've got our first game coming up in 186 days.I know we should trust the staff but we're still missing multiple starters and its getting stressful...
Where can I find Trilly saying these things?Trilly Donovan just said that Coleman portaling has some legs…
I'll guess it's TA to get his salary close to OA's, but I also know nothing. If we lose another assistant, I really hope Brad has another stud lined up to replace him.I don't think we are losing any coaches-but there have been rumors but last I was told there was a nice pay raise.
Nico will likely enter the portal
As for Coleman, who knows. Have heard both sides but he's probably leaked both himself
I don't anticipate we will have to worry about thatI'll guess it's TA to get his salary close to OA's, but I also know nothing. If we lose another assistant, I really hope Brad has another stud lined up to replace him.
A) OA plays things close to the vestAntigua hired. Everyone clams up on the portal targets. LOL. Not a coincidence.
All of the above?A) OA plays things close to the vest
B) Chester had loose lips
C) Brad and staff are reevaluating who is attainable now that OA is officially on board
D) Other
Maybe somebody already corrected you but, Humrichous is a D1 player from Evansville in the Missouri Valley. Played Drake , Indiana state and Bradely each twice a year. Hardly NAIA material, but neither is SIU. 14/5 with 41% 3 pt. percentage. Getting some NBA workouts. Not Domask, but not bad.Humrichous could be a nice piece, but I’d like to register my objection to the inevitable comparisons with Domask immediately.
Humrichous was less productive as a junior at an NAIA school than Domask was as a true freshman at SIU.
He’s a considerably better 3-point shooter than Domask and bigger, he would be a nice stand in the corner and attack undisciplined closeouts type weapon, but you don’t run offense through him.
And then at the defensive end of the floor you’re basically just hiding him, forget about switches.

You keep the HCPlease don't tell me Ty will hit the portal. How do you keep culture if it's a completely new team???
Humrichous played at Evansville for 1 year after playing at Huntington University in NAIA for 3. Will be a 5th year senior using a COVID year.Maybe somebody already corrected you but, Humrichous is a D1 player from Evansville in the Missouri Valley. ^^^^TA ain't going anywhere
He’s a grad transfer at Evansville from NAIA Huntington University. He’s got 1 year left to play.Maybe somebody already corrected you but, Humrichous is a D1 player from Evansville in the Missouri Valley. Played Drake , Indiana state and Bradely each twice a year. are we going to start talking about each other's wives? The portal era has too many moving parts to make sense of what the ultimate product will look like. Brad got us to the Elite 8 so he's got my trust until the results on the court show otherwise.
I need to vent a little though. Did anyone else's wife get them a Sweet 16 shirt instead of an Elite 8?!
This was Ben’s first season with the Purple Aces, so he’s not wrong (he was at Huntington University in the NAIA before) but it’s a bit of a straw man. Why would I be worried about Humrichous’s production as a freshman at an NAIA school compared to Domask’s production in the Missouri Valley as a freshman? In fact you could frame it as, look at the incredible strides he made while playing at a school with more resources, imagine what he’d do with all the resources at Illinois.Maybe somebody already corrected you but, Humrichous is a D1 player from Evansville in the Missouri Valley.
