I saw some terrible fry takes yesterday, so here is the actual fry top 5 list:

1. Lion's Choice - Just a better, cleaner, more consistent version of mcdonald's
2. Shake Shack - The best and crispiest of the crinkle cut fries, jumps to #1 if you get the cheese sauce
3. Jack in the Box (or Arbys) - Curly fries are just always good
4. Chick Fil A - What better way to eat chick fil a sauce than with a giant spoon made of potato?
5. 5 Guys - Natural Cut and portions for the whole family... and priced like it.

This starting 5 is taking home the Natty.

I saw someone say Portillos yesterday.... those fries have got to be the most bland and average fries I have ever had.
Also, In n Out fries are terrible.
Naaa, McDonalds is #1 - no contest.

Ohio State sophomore Center Felix Okpara is transferring to Texas A&M. Minnesota sophomore Center Pharrel Payne is transferring to Texas A&M. Is Illinois focusing solely on getting a transfer from Kentucky sophomore Center Ugonna Onyense? Is it all or nothing with Onyense? Illinois really needs to add a rim protector. Someone mentioned Alabama C/F Nick Pringle once as a possible transfer to Illinois. Is Pringle still a possibility for the Illini? I worry that the search for a rim protector this year will end up like the Illinois search last year for a point guard. Indy Illini Fan and any other posters: Do you have any answers to these questions?

We need another guard ... Posh can handle it and allow Kylan to rest or play off ball ... As well as be our best perimeter defender ...

For Harmon money ... He's a no brainer add to me ...

It gives us another proven ball handler ... And right now ... We only have 1 ...

And there is mutual interest ... Brad has always liked Posh and we have a hook with him now ...
For Harmon money and role, sign me up

People are saying we tampered with Storr…?

Just wondering how big a deal that is if true.
Courts ruled that players can speak freely with NIL collectives about potential opportunities. There really shouldn't be any issue here. Nothing about the current portal and NIL system feels good, fair, or right, but it's how things are set up. And it can no longer be expected that players not make calls or set up meetings with collectives to maximize their financial opportunities, nor can it be expected for collectives not to make calls or meet with said player to tell said player of a possible financial opportunity.

I certainly understand teams and fans anger about losing a player especially due to NIL and meetings with collectives, but it's a free market out there, and expecting it to be genteel and civilized and anything other than the complete utter ugly mess it is, just isn't realistic. It's sad in many ways, but it also just is.

I think that 6'0" 205 lbs. Butler Guard Posh Alexander would be a nice addition as a BACKUP point guard. Is he willing to come off the bench at Illinois? If he's starting at PG next season, Illinois is in trouble in my humble opinion. I know he's apparently a VG defender, but can he handle switching on picks? Nightmare scenario: watching him try to guard a big after a switch. Posh shot 33.3% on 3s last season for Butler. I believe that was his first year shooting 3s at a percentage over 30%. But Illinois does NEED a ball handler, distributor, defender to back up Boswell at the point guard position. I wonder if Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn will immediately enter the transfer portal if Illinois adds Posh Alexander?

If teams have a big 7 footer rim protecting big and they assign them to Ty, they don't ever leave the lane to guard Ty like Purdue, UConn and others then I don't see how he is going to start or play much. It will bog down our offense with opponents playing 5 on 4 defensively. If they don't do that then sure Ty can play but I expect more and more of that from our opponents next season so shooters will and should play over Ty when teams take that approach to park a big guy under the hoop and dare Ty to take a jumper. Which he never has.
