What’s cooking Loyalty? Fresh week! Looking forward to some good news..

Couple of questions..
The window to enter portal closes in two days. Nico has yet to enter. Are we expecting him to? If not I wouldn’t be upset with him being back up point guard next year.

Also- grad transfers can enter portal after May 1st deadline. Would David Jones be considered a grad transfer? He’s played 4 years, but only 9 games his freshman year. Not sure if he redshirted that year or not.

Grad transfers now must be in by 5/1. That was a recent change.

I understand the deadline to enter the portal is 1 May and folks are open to sign after that day. I still have hope that there's names we haven't heard out there that we are going for, but come 1 May, there's no more "waiting to enter the portal". I could be wrong, but expect to see some expectations lowering in the near future (ie "What we have already is good enough"/ " This guy is a good fit, we will develop him")

I know I'm going to get the "BU doesnt care what we think", but I prefer to see some differing thoughts on here rather than being spoon fed what you should believe, and any opposing thought is ran off. We went to the elite 8 on the back of TSJ who put up historic numbers on our run, and was arguably one of the top 3 players in the nation. BU had a gigantic whiff on PG last year in the transfer portal, we dont have a big yet and we dont have someone who is going to fill the gap on scoring from losing our top three scorers.

Do we really think we have a game changer signing left in the portal, or are we going to settle for good enough pieces?

I have hope, this isnt a we are going to finish last in the B1G post, but its very easy to lose momentum that we have.

Is our NIL just not that good? Hard to read the pivot from a transfer big to getting a third freshman big from Europe as anything else.

They recently changed that rule, grad transfers now also have to enter portal by May 1st. Could that rule be challenged? Yes, and quite possibly the NCAA would lose since they have lost most of these challenges recently.
