Someone on another Illini site posted that Brad Sturdy said Humrichous' holdup is an Illinois admissions issue. Not sure if that's been posted here or not. Sounds fun!

assuming we truly have the NIL resources that have been rumored, you have to expect 2-3 more big transfers. in a day and age where highest bidder wins, money doesn’t lie. hoping that BU and co. are prepping a five course meal
if not, maybe our NIL resources just aren’t there. objectively, as it stands now, we are behind multiple other B1G programs this offseason in the portal. hope we’re not the guy with leftover money at the end of the auction draft

How'd you come up with that?
I trust this staff but they will have to work some magic in the next month. We're currently ranked 22nd in portal recruit average with HUGE shoes to fill and most of the top talent is already off the board. As of now, I'm pretty underwhelmed by what they have put together(especially given some of the NIL rumors I've been hearing, we have a war chest of $$$). I do trust the staff but as it looks right now, next year will be a rebuild.
Brad Sturdy said last night on a public podcast that Ben graduated from Huntington so he may have to switch grad programs from Evansville and that has been a hold up. Although he expects Ben to be admitted.

Been hearing it for days I didn’t come up with it on my own!
We gave added top 2 former top 40 recruits, one a starting PG for Arizona that just turned 19, 1 top 60 recruit in Booth all with multiple years remaining and a solid shooter in Davis many feel is better than Goode on the move. Last year many were unimpressed by All Valley Domask. Whats it take for BU to get a l little time to fill out what is a great start with transfers to go with an Illinois Mr Basketball in Morez!
