I don’t understand why this one wasn’t a focus for us. Holding out hope we are getting someone better though.
We likely won’t get anyone better- I think he would have been a focus for us if we would have gotten Mike Boynton as an assistant, but Small wants the ball in his hands so once we got Boswell, we’re not getting another top PG that is trying make the league to come here

I do think we can get a SG that can score and will be a great fit however

With the Humus signing we now are 14th in the B1G, 50th overall with a 17-14 record. A mighty fall from an Elite 8 team. Definitely have work to do.
First of all, I think you are far too doom and gloom. But, secondly, and more importantly, WE ARE NOT DONE ADDING GUYS. It is a fool's errand trying to guess how the team is going to perform against other teams 6 months from now, when there are still so many unknowns. I will grant you that it is possible that we don't add any "Alpha Studs" to this team. Guys like TJ are rare. But, there will be other additions, and based on portal success in the past, my guess is that they will be impact players. Try to remember what Ayo used to say, "You got to try to not get too high or get too low."

I’m worried we have spent so much time back channeling guys not in the portal we haven’t the done the work on guys in the portal.

With a team roster that has 4 open spots, winning 17 games would be kind of impressive. Why don't we wait to pass judgement on preseason projects until after our roster (and that of every other team we play) is finished? Seems like a reasonable thing to do.

Well said!

Oh, sure, but we could have all of both groups if we wanted. We could be done, that could be our team.

The question is whether where we go from here improves the roster from that baseline. It can and should, but too early to tell.
If you had both groups I think you would be lacking scorers.

A bunch of guys that I think will be quality college players and some good role players but no guys you can really count on to go get a bucket(maybe Humrichous, White, or Boswell can become that but can't really count on it).

I think the current roster still needs a guard/wing that can score honestly maybe a combo guard and a wing. Plus could use a rim protecting center.

Think Boswell, Humrichous, and White can all be secondary/tertiary options but still need to get a top guy and probably another secondary shooter type.

Seems pretty reasonable to me as long as we get to follow your earlier advice to acquire a suitable beverage and relax. The beverage is a key component of this activity.

My great uncle just shipped me a new bottle of scotch. Macallan 12 year Double Cask. I will be cracking into that tonight.

Yeh. I'm with you. If true, I kind of think that the 7'1" center we have been told about could make a little difference in the win column. Also, I do feel like we will get another wing. We have to much money not to get one. Maybe the kid from Minnesota would be a great fit. If he doesn't go in the draft, hang a big BAG. With those two and a few other bench pieces, it could be a very very successful year.

I do not understand this. Whether you like them or not, that implies you were annoying them on Twitter. Which... whatever. But the fact that you're engaging at all is kind of defeating your point because it means you were giving them attention.

See that’s the thing, Goodman blocked me for no good reason at all. I wasn’t being annoying one iota.

I haven’t said much the last few couple weeks in transfers or any other updates on the team. Mostly because no matter what, we will have a team to challenge for the big ten championships. The only bit of news to share is that Ty has been in Uben constantly and consistently. GA and TA have been working overtime on correcting his shot. If you ever seen it from 15-20’ from the basket you’d wonder if it’s just luck that one would go in. Ty knows if he wants to get where he wants to go his scoring has to improve. At least 6-15’
