One injury to Boswell from that changing.

It's good that the staff is honest with kids about these expectations, the bigger culture problems come from lying to them about how much they can expect to play, but, y'know, you still catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

Nico would not play ...

We would adjust if we had an injury ... DGL on ball ... Ty on ball ... Ben on the ball ...

We got options ... DGL is gonna play A LOT next year ... Brad loves the kid ...

Well, now I'm really confused, but still excited to see how it plays out.

Think we could leave 2 open ... The ideal plan is to leave 2 open ...

Brad is only going to play 8, maybe 9 guys ... Jakstys is going to redshirt ...
The plan as of now is to add 1 more ... Unless something crazy happens and it's an opportunity Brad can't pass up ...

Everyone - i know that a lot of you Guys will be asking me whO that one may be but Really ... you should just be patient and let them finish cooking ... the meal will be Delightful, Exceptional, Magnificent, Impactful, and Noteworthy ...

I do think if Nico wanted to come back ... They would do it ... They would be less hesitant to do it if it would push them to 13 though ... Brad wants one open ...
So if we add Egor...that is likely the last commitment...?

Thought the ideal plan was to add Egor and a quality wing from the American portal and then leave 1 open - def. would like this more than that...

Who knows what has changed...and what the thought behind is...

People posting starting lineups, comparing shooting percentages, minutes for players, wishing for different players etc.is a waste of time because we don't know anything. We don't know which players are going to put in the extra work this summer like Shannon did last summer. We don't know if there are players that want to put themselves first before the team or decide they don't like Underwood's coaching style and walk away mid season. Team chemistry may suck because of all the new players. It may take some players time to acclimate to BIG style of play. I'm sure some players will surprise and others will disappoint. Who thought that Shannon would have the year that he had based on his play the year before? I thought he would be better, but I didn't think he'd take over games like he did. I'm going to enjoy the summer and trust that Underwood knows what he's doing.

I've thought this was pretty clear for a while. There isn't room for Hawkins to be back with the guys they have been adding. Hawkins interview with Goodman and talking about not wanting to block guys who aren't expecting him to be there pretty much sealed it up for me.

I think that Coleman's loyalty and respect does not get enough attention ... Kid cares so much about this place ... He stayed loyal when he wasn't playing ... Never transferred ... Never flirted with the portal ... Brad brought in new guys and Coleman sees that maybe it's time to move on ...

Ideally in the NBA but maybe elsewhere ... The portal was not a thought until they moved the entry deadline ...

Took us farther than Ayo and Kofi did while playing 60% healthy ... And I don't want that to just get swept under the rug ... Great kid, and great family ...

Nico was playing as a freshman last year before he got hurt.

Not promising him a role that isn't planned for him is admirable honesty, and his skillset isn't as differentiated on this next roster, but he's still a club not currently in BU's bag, and BU has a tendency to tinker with every stylistic option available to him.

Well, there seems to be 2 types of people that do this. Some are just doing it for fun as fans in the off-season, and understand that it's just meaningless, generally not-super-serious speculation. But others do seem genuinely concerned about the future, and for that group I agree that your advice is worthwhile.

Yup, Coleman and Brad are at peace with their 4 years together.

Boswell, DGL, Ty, Humrichous, Tomislav, Morez, a SG were looking for, Booth, White

That's 9. I can't find a season were anyone past the 8 spot received decent mins/game in Brad tenure at ILL.

Leaving 2 open might be a good strategy for the future. Can pickup 1 or 2 projects throughout the year as well as not running the risk of trying to keep them happy so they don't bolt.

I hope we are thinking some dumplings or maybe a good stroganoff rather than some borscht.

Oh I'm not saying Nico gets a spot in the rotation as things are constructed.

But counting on that same group to be available and healthy and performing for every game of a whole season, especially given the youth and newness of the group, is not a reasonable assumption.

A developing true true PG will find some spot minutes here or there (as he did last season), and is always an eye blink away from more.

So you’re implying they’ve added someone? There’s currently 3 open spots right now…Unless unless…Egor..
