Sooo....I'm curious....do we have a General Manager type?? And who would that be? Can't imagine trying to coach your team down the stretch of a season and conducting negotiations (for lack of a better term) with players or their agents.

Let's cool the Big Z talk. Frustrating player, and Morez is better in the post than he is.
I wouldn't want him instead of Morez, but if either:
1) Despite our best efforts and offer, Morez still ends up leaving to follow TA or whatever, or
2) Big Z is willing to come off of the bench and be part of a 3-man big rotation where you are playing various combinations of the 3 as the game goes,
then let's talk.
I think big Z could be useful if we have morez, tomi, Z, and ben playing the 4 and 5 collectively. This would be quite expensive but it would give us enough shooters and flexibility in terms of presence in the post. Also Ben has been doing a little more booty ball lately based on what I have seen and maybe that could be another avenue to explore for us this season and next if he stays which should be a limited one
He’s young … Brad trusts him … He’s got good NBA experience … He’s a pretty smart guy … Good with the analytical side of things as well …

Also, I know he's played poorly as of late, but he should still go in the 1st round so I'm unsure why they'd be focused on college for him next season at this time.

I am thinking about how challenging it is, or will be, to sort through a couple of thousand portal transfers. Seems like an around the clock job. Next year's success is founded on decisions made in the next 8 weeks.
