One year of his college eligibility totally down the pipe literally not even playing with the walk-ons... yes he got paid, but a very tough season for him as well. DGL wasn't the most jumping for joy either. What else would you expect?

I played with Andrew Wiggins dad at Huff often. He was a great player. NBA wasnt as tolerant back then. Mitchell was a Houston Rocket and Andrew's future mom won a Silver Medal in the Olympics as an Illini Track star. It would be cool if Sarr is close to them.

I thought she was just training in Champaign for the Pan Am games and he came with her while he was kicked out of the NBA. Didn’t think she actually competed for Illinois but could be wrong.

Am I the only one that gets tired of KB trailing quicker guards down the lane? He's touted as being a great defender, but his failings expose our bigs to more fouls or easy buckets when they come to help on his man. He can't shoot 3's. Me thinks we need to pick up 2 stud guards in the portal.

If Rogers was to stay there is no way he and Morez can be on the court the same time. They can't hit a basket farther than 5 ft. Puts no pressure on an opposing D ?

Ty's been working on his shot and his ball handling all year, he may have stepped up his game. I do want him to return for all the intangibles he brings and as a matter of fact, I do miss DaMonte.

Might be slightly doxxing myself but whatever. I went to Kennesaw and am still close with people around the program. He is eyeing an SEC school. He’ll probably follow in the footsteps of Youngblood. Tuscaloosa kid and all that.

Regardless, kid is a gamer. Will be elite wherever he goes.

Illinois has made more recent success than Kansas. Question is will Kansas be better next year.

2024 Illini # 3 Elite 8 vs KS #4 lost first weekend
2205 Illini #6 lost 2nd round, KS #7 lost first round

Kansas also has 5 star 2 guard and 4 star SF coming in next year. Does Josh Dix want to split time with them.
Our 2G and SF positions are open and we have strong returnees at PG, PF and Center.

On the other hand Dix may have to play @ Iowa if he comes to Illinois. He does not if he goes to KS. He will called traitor for leaving Iowa no matter where he chooses.
