What makes Dix such a sought after transfer? Solid stats but the second option on an underwhelming team. I'm genuinely curious - not trying to poke holes.

Where is Owen Freeman ending up?

Really like your list. Am familiar with Davis, Craft, and Durkin- was my favorite player on that Glenbard West team. How about Pierce and Huff? I'm such a homer; love bringing back Illinois hs players who've had success elsewhere. Seem to remember someone on this board mentioning some sort of personality problem with Craft a while back? Could be wrong.
I like Huff a lot, the kid can flat out score and is a better post scorer than either Morez or Tomi but I don't love the fit if both of those guys are back. Huff isn't much of a rim protector or defender and I think the 3rd big needs to be able to block shots.

I don't think Pierce is necessarily a successful power conference player unless it's a perfect situation. He's just too much of an undersized big and probably not a good enough shooter. Maybe he could work as a 4 in the right situation. I think he's probably best off staying and graduating at Princeton.

The ivy League always seems like it's full of Chicago area kids. Poulakidas could have played in any conference though.

That'll never work. You have to recruit over your guys from the portal to get anywhere. Purdue, Mich St, Duke are morons who the game has passed by. Izzo had his guys shooting a ton of 2s just inside the free throw line against us. Idiot!

Big Z would be an amazing to get next year- he’s much more of a rim protector than Tomi and would be a great 1-2 punch. I think Morez would be thrilled given he wouldn’t have to play the 5, he would get all of his minutes at the 4 which is his natural position

Add a SG like McKneely along with Sarr and we’d be a Final Four contender
I love Morez as a freshmen but he has to develop an outside shot- at least to 15 feet, even in this age of emphasis on the 3 point shot, or else he's gonna be very much like a bigger version of Ty. Most good 4's can at least score some from beyond 7 feet from the basket. Otherwise, we are playing 4 on 5 on offense.Sure it might detract a bit from his offensive rebounding opportunities but I think being a scoring threat from other than near the rim would more than make up for that with opening up the offense more for others. And the professional ranks aren't gonna be interested in him either unless he can add some offensive versatility to his game.

I think he will get there, I'm just not very concerned about it. Morez is built like very few freshmen big men. An entire summer with Fletch, and it's not hard to imagine him being an absolute bulldozer down low. He already finishes through contact under the basket better than most upperclassmen.
I get serious Oscar T. vibes. He will be a double-double machine.
