I’m really starting to see the fit for Ty Rodgers on next years team … And I don’t hate it …
I agree- I can’t imagine he’s a hot commodity given he avg 6 ppg and didn’t shoot the last time anyone saw him and he sat out a year.

I like him being the backup PG for 5-8 min a game (he’s already played that role and knows the offense) and can backup the 3 and 4 as well so you get the utility guy that plays 15-20 min a game

Otherwise we need a backup PG transfer willing to only play 5-10 min and I don’t know how we find that

I think that if we have to rely on Ty to be the back-up PG we are in trouble. That is not his natural position, we need him to be Morez-lite with a focus on rebounding, put-backs, and hustle plays.

Haha, I have to admit, I DO get awfully bored and roll my eyes at some of the puns and innuendos that come about in this thread. But for some stupid reason, this gif cracked me up, lol.

Just another one of many reasons I mostly love, but sometimes hate, this board and just cannot look away....

Cluff to Purdue. Big get for them.

He averaged 18/12 in his league. Not going to do that in the Big 10 but he’s a fit for Purdue.

Smith
Loyer
????
Renn
Cluff

They are an athletic 3 away from being a FF expectant IMO. I think this is going to be Painter’s last team. 3 seniors that been there forever. Seems like the right time to move on even though Painter is still fairly young

When I see big Z is in the portal, the first thing I think is "He's going where Antigua is".

Oh wait....
I don’t think he’s a fit bc you can’t play both of them together. And Tomi is the better player, so you’d want Tomi playing 30-35 minutes a game. I just don’t see the point of giving money to a guy that really shouldn’t play more than 10 minutes a game if you have Tomi

LOL, guilty XD

I am really, really confident Fears is going in the first round, probably the lottery.
I don't think lottery but probably first round Oklahoma completely sank in sec play and he didn't rise to the occasion of winning games in play but still shot good enough to be a 1st rounder

I really like UCF's Keyshawn Hall as a possible transfer to Illinois. He's listed at 6'7" tall, weighing 235-240 pounds. Sounds like he can play SG, SF, or maybe even some small-ball PF. This kid can score. Last season he averaged 18.8/7.1/2.4 per game. He shot 42.7% on FGs, including 35.4% on 3-pointers, while shooting 81.6% on FTs. He played at UNLV his first year, at George Mason his second year, and at Central Florida this past season. I'm not crazy about Hall potentially playing for 4 schools in 4 seasons, but I actually think he might fit a "need" for Illinois much more than Tre White would have if he had returned. (Another 4 schools in 4 years player.) Do any of you know anything about Keyshawn Hall? Or if Illinois is interested in him? And if we might have a chance to get this transfer? I wonder how much money it would take to sign Hall versus what our final offer was to Tre White.
