I have a question about context of the origins of this… I know Deron said it about IDKWTI snubbing us, but was he being honest that he didn’t know him and what happened? Or was he fully aware of the situation and refusing to acknowledge him… basketball recruiting and the internet didn’t have the same reach then it does now so I’m just curious

I'll never understand paying him anything close to his rumored price tag and not just do everything to keep Morez. Dain and Amani didn't get a good shake here IMO (particularly the former when he gave resistance against Edey vs. watching Edey plant Coleman in the 5th row every back down) but neither hold a candle to what Morez can bring.
Just a massive massive mistake by the staff here IMO. I never want to hear "Brad caters his offensive system to his talent" again. You let IMO a future potential college all-American walk. 18-19 255 lb physical freaks with endless motors don't grow in trees.
I get in the minority but I have more questions about Boswell being a (good) full time PG than I do about Morez's future.

Would we kick the tires again on Mahaney? Would love him as a backup, but I would be surprised if he doesn’t go somewhere where he will start day 1.

Can he create his own shot? I still feel they need someone who can drive, create and score at the basket.
How is he defensively?
In the end, if he plays hard, rebounds, hits his FTs, makes 40% of this 3-pointers and can "booty ball" his opponent, then I am good with that.
