Regarding morez an 3 point shooting? did not Coach BU see and put morez in 3pt shooting situations in the many team practices over the past season? Likely morez was so so at shooting 3 pointers and more effective as a rebounder in or near the paint.

If it's all about money, I still won't bash him any more than I would CH, who I also was happy for when he grabbed a bag, at premium prices no less.
The notion that BU would recruit a perimter-oriented offense then stop Morez from shooting 3s makes no sense. If he could shoot them at a decent clip, you'd have to think BU would be all for it. IMHO even if Morez never snifs the NBA, he can make a ton of money at the college level. He was rebounding at the same rate as senior Zach Edey.

And because he is undersized, often fouled on defense.. Though some of that was over-aggression, but I do think it was often because he wasn't big enough to slow an offensive player down.

Seen tyler cochran was added to the portal tracker list of names. Is this a real possibility? Really liked him coming out of toledo the year before. He was mac co-defensive player that year for what it’s worth.
I rooted hard for Morez this year and am now rooting that he learns from this classiness because that's who he is.
Morez cannot hit the 3 at a decent clip. And even if he could, there is NO WAY he'd even be sporadically shooting 3's. Let's play pretend and say Morez can hit 3's at a 27% clip. Here are multiple off-the-dome plays that equal an infinitely better offensive possession. The point is, if Morez is shooting a 3 in any offense then it's a busted !!! possession.

He was a name Indy threw out when he entered the portal. I’m still not sure if when Indy does that if it just means he likes them, Illini have interest and contacted, or a little further down the relationship path. Regardless, beyond that initial post by Indy there hasn’t been any further mention of him.

I added him as Dan posted a tweet here that mentioned us in his list of schools that contacted him, but he hasn't really been mentioned here outside of that. I wouldn't consider him a strong possibility at this point.
Even more than hearing Big Z, Sellers or Dix confirm, which would all be great news, I'm really intrigued by who this mysterious PF is that we're close to finalizing - is it the Serbian big man we had on campus in Feb. Aleksa D?, but he's a 7 footer and I wouldn't think of him as a PF, plus having three 7 ft big men from Europe on one team would be crazy. Is it Quaintance from ASU given OA's previous relationship which would be a huge get and I would think would not have gone under the radar or is it a less talked about portal guy?
My personal favorite of the under the radar portal PF's is this guy - came on really strong late in the year, stretch 4, but has a lot of toughness and is athletic enough to guard the perimeter and can rebound in traffic - his type of skill set would fit in perfectly
