Really good player - 40% three point shooter. Probably the best possible scenario at that 4 spot (outside of maybe Yaxel). Would be a fairly monsterous addition.

i am obviously STOKED about all the incoming transfer chatter - just curious if insiders know when (hopeful) returnees aka boswell and tomi will announce said return? not sure if those deals are 100% done yet, but it would be real swell if that was the case.

Really want a Captain Boswell letter to his mother post to confirm his return to the battlefield with his squadron.

The assist numbers are impressive...

Without Morez, we are really gonna need rebounders though. Z and Tomi don't really bang on the inside for boards like that and I hope they can get more to address it.

Just regarding portal and transfer. There are 5,500 basketball players (men) in Div 1. The number I saw yesterday (April 1--and not an April Fools joke) was 2,000. That's increasing daily, as we know from the portal joiners from our favorite team. But just with just yesterday's numbers, that's a third of D1 players.

Then considering that one quarter of players are graduating seniors, or rounding down a bit, 1,000. So more or less, half of all D1 men basketball players have entered the portal. Discus among yourselves because, heck, I'm just beyond getting enthused. The golden egg-laying goose should be watching back because there are semi-pro basketball players about to take her out unless something changes. Can you imagine pro sports with this lack of continuity?

Booth was a HUGE miss. Davis and Humrichous were not strong additions, but had some value, IMO. Just not as starters.

The more I reread those DGL departing tweets, and savor Ty's return, the more those two matters serve as complete palate cleansers from the low-rent Morez exit, though I'll miss his rebounding. Always liked DGL. Kid seemed to work his a$$ off.

Now get a couple BOOMS and I'll be like "Morez who?"

Some of it are the same reasons he gets bashed in season. Certainly a players coach, in the sense he lets his guys play loose, free, and fast. Ways that guys see translating to NBA. Aggravating to watch sometimes. ( Turnovers, playing guys through slumps) But recruits take notice of this

Oh, and money
