This early? Like anything else in life, if you're going to hold out for the next best thing, you had better darn we'll be sure that the next best thing comes and is better than what you had.I don’t think being a top 5 player in the portal this early is super impressive for what it’s worth. I think when it’s all said and done he’ll be in the 20-30 range… once again he was hardly a top 3 player on his own TEAM last year. Like Indy said- I wouldn’t even pay him 1 million
Or maybe the sweater fits just fine but there's a red dot. It's still a great sweater. Just squint and you might see a winning player.Signing Storr because he would be a bargain is like buying a sweater on sale at 50% off even though it's the wrong size.
oh is that what you like about my post? Why don't you dial it back about 30% there.I love that gif.

The guy was 3rd in the conference in eFG% and #1 & 2 were Senior big men who are out of eligibility. You know how sometimes out offense hits a stretch where shots just aren't going down? Dix is the cure for that.I don’t think being a top 5 player in the portal this early is super impressive for what it’s worth. No it's not. It's like buying that sweater on final sale not knowing if it'll fit. If it does you got a great deal. If it doesn't just toss it in the closet and eventually donate it to Goodwill.Signing Storr because he would be a bargain is like buying a sweater on sale at 50% off even though it's the wrong size.
Easily solution. Let Manchester United overpay for overrated players and pick up quality for value.*Premier League team message board transfer window PTSD approaching*
Why isn't Blackwell already here? Somebody asleep at the wheel?Any chance Blackwelll from Wiscy would be interested in Illinois? His dad played at Illinois in the 1980s and Blackwell would fit in well with Boswell and Saar (if we get him) in the backcourt.
Having stated that here for years, you know I agree. I am unimpressed with any shooter below 40%, especially those who are shooting volume and below 33%. What I see are a plethora of volume miss-ers today. It takes work, but if you have a passion for the game, it really is not work. And if you are truly a jump-shooter inside 30 ft., of which there are few, practice is a ton of work and effort when shooting 500 to 1000 shots a day.We don’t need 3 point shooters, we need 3 point makers and we don’t have that!
Let me see if I got this right..Last year in the big ten championship we beat Wisconsin because Storr quit? He scored 24 and had 5 rebounds.I dunno.
I think we beat Wisky last year because Storr quit.
How'd he really do at Kansas? I haven't heard much positive.
IMO we will have enough team building to do without Storr
Very underrated movie, IMO.
Yes! Lol…like going for the buy two-get one free on 50 lb bags of dog food without owning a dog.Signing Storr because he would be a bargain is like buying a sweater on sale at 50% off even though it's the wrong size.
All of this. Dix is good and he possesses a skill we lacked big time. He can really light it up from deep, AND he isn’t a turnover machine. I’m not trying to make the man out to be God’s gift to basketball, but he is a great fit for this team and how we want to play. This early? Like anything else in life, if you're going to hold out for the next best thing, you had better darn we'll be sure that the next best thing comes and is better than what you had.
Dix is a three level scorer, who can really shoot the ball and he has size. We were a brutally bad three points shooting team.
So, you're saying that he'll be top 20-30. We're going to hold off for someone better? Can you guarantee that? If you swing and miss, the results aren't going to be great.
We could have but if you want players to make threes at a higher clip, you need a PG who can make the right pass to the shooters to give them the best opportunity to succeed. We do not have that, yet. Boz needs to learn the playmaking part of being the floor leader. Controlling the game, working off screens better and get the ball to an open shooter. If Boz can take that next step, we are going to be better than last year.We don’t need 3 point shooters, we need 3 point makers and we don’t have that!
