I think it’s that Sarr is climbing the draft boards, see my post from first page about him going to Nike summit
Nike Hoops Summit rosters were announced in early March. I don’t really see how this is new news, other than Barcelona doesn’t like it because he’s actually been playing meaningful minutes over the last 3-4 weeks. Did people think he wouldn’t be going?

I don't like this for Kansas in terms of what it says about the strength of their program
I think they just added a kid from Loyola, not really the class of player Blue Bloods typically reel in.

They will get multiple domestic kids this cycle.
So I’m not trying to call you out here by any means, I appreciate all the info you and others post greatly.

I’m just pointing out that we got multiple domestic kids last cycle too - that statement in and off itself doesn’t mean too much, in opinion.

In my opinion, what we were really missing last year was an old, college-experienced grown-@$$ man alpha to anchor the team.

So I’m all for getting some skilled euros to come fill roles and be solid contributors, but I’m really hoping we can still land at least 1 domestic alpha as well.

(By the way, I don’t want to rule out Boswell becoming a guy like this next year. He averaged just under 17 a game in his last 8 games, I believe. If he takes another step, he could be in that experienced alpha category).

Has anybody seen any draft boards he’s a first rounder in that are recent? I haven’t seen any but it’s been mentioned several times. He is a first round projected pick in 2026, I haven’t seen any that say that in 2025

The other thing to keep in mind is that while the Nike Hoop Summit is good exposure- the U.S. team is all the best incoming freshman who are still in HS and will be in next years draft- even if he does well I don’t think it will necessarily vault him up draft boards to score on HS kids being a year older than all of them
