Wolf is going to the NBASo Wolf, Yaxel and Morez. Ouch. Wait, I thought dad said Morez didn't come off the bench?
I suspect Yaxel will too.Wolf is going to the NBA
Our “pipe dream” who we had absolutely no chance with just committed to Michigan
That’s exactly what I was thinking - Morez would have to be the center and do the dirty work down low while Yaxel is the mobile PF looking to show NBA scouts what they need to seeThis can’t sit well with another Michigan big man who doesn’t want to just man the post.
I suspect him flirting with IU got him his extension and higher NIL guaranteesInteresting they are able to pull in such high profile kids with May. I thought a big complaint and a big reason why Hunter left is they just didn’t dedicate resources to basketball like they did football. Surprised they’re willing to break out the check book for May if they weren’t willing for Michigan Man Howard.
Or did they just not break it out for Hunter?
Dusty May at Michigan scares the hell out of me.
Same thing as with football: a giantJesus, what is going on at Michigan!?
RabidDawg....we may need you to provide some levityDusty May at Michigan scares the hell out of me.
We’re suddenly trending towards being a middle of the pack Big Ten team. There’s only like 4 kids left in the top 25 not committed. Feels like if we need a difference maker he’s going to have to come from Europe. Our “pipe dream” who we had absolutely no chance with just committed to Michigan
This, which is why I suspect that Michigan expects Yaxel to stay in college. I don’t see why you commit such significant resources this early without a strong indication that he’s likely back. Otherwise you could be left with a huge bag to spend but few guys left that would be good fits for your almost-complete roster.I suspect him flirting with IU got him his extension and higher NIL guarantees
The interesting thing about taking these potential draft guys are, you’ve locked up NIL and then if they do stay in the draft you have limited options to replace them
What goes around comes around for Rez and his dad. They thought the grass was greener in Michigan and now it looks like they were double crossed. Let's face it, Michigan has been cheating, lying and pulling underhanded stuff for years. With NIL, they don't have to hide the under the table compensation and illegal payments anymore. However, dishonesty and lying is ingrained in their culture. They likely promised Rez and dad the moon, now things have changed. A cautionary tale of dealing with a shady program.Very interesting to see what morez and family think of this move. Keeping my antena up.mm
Dusty May putting it together...rut roOur “pipe dream” who we had absolutely no chance with just committed to Michigan
He just became the back to his basket centerDid Morez just become the backup 4/5 at Michigan?
What is their NIL if they're giving $1.8M to a backup 4/5?
This must mean Wolf is confident he will be drafted, I mean I just can't reconcile this otherwise
The odd part is Sarr had been announced as participating for the world team for a while now -View attachment 41257
Is this a move to try and get drafted? Not sure why he would leave Barca without permission if he knew he was coming to Illinois
He just became the back to his basket center. Hmmm, could've done that at another school!!
Our “pipe dream” who we had absolutely no chance with just committed to Michigan
In order to capitalize off momentum, we first need to have momentum.Haha could you imagine if we had commits from Morez Johnson Jr, Elliot Cadeau, and Yaxel Lendenborg by April 5th..
That’s how you capitalize off momentum.
You do know that’s there’s going to be more players entering the portal and players dropping out of the draft or that’s not happening this year….lolWe’re suddenly trending towards being a middle of the pack Big Ten team. There’s only like 4 kids left in the top 25 not committed. Feels like if we need a difference maker he’s going to have to come from Europe.
Brad has showed that he needs a bonafide AA to have success in this league. Not sure where that’s going to come from.
Sounds like he has no plans of going back to Euroleague. Will be able to pay any penalties out of fat NIL bag from Illini, and then straight to the League.I would assume this is problematic in some sense.

Dame Sarr traveled to Nike Hoop Summit without Barcelona’s permission
The 2006-born talent had been surprising this seasonwww.eurohoops.net
The Nike Hoops Summit is an international basketball all-star game sponsored by Nike, held once a year, which features the USA Basketball Men's Junior Select Team against a World Select Team of international players. The players demonstrate their skills and hope to attract attention from either NBA scouts or colleges.
I’m wondering what happened to the “he’s been exposed” talk on here. It’s more like he’s been revealed as a guy….thats pretty damn solid.Dusty May at Michigan scares the hell out of me.
