Yes I'm not a storr fan but with what Indy was saying about him being at a discount you have to go for him. Obviously there is a limited amount that can be spent and let's say he is around 500k. Not sure your going to find much better talent with the 500k. If he does reach his potential with mind and game then you just got the biggest steal of the portal. There is no denying his skills and you need guys who can come on the low price to pursue the bigger fish that's wanted. I do understand why some say no but to fill a role at around that price with a guy like storr is almost a no brainer.

(just a hypothetical) All this talk of "look at the teams in the Final 4, we have no athleticism" ... I'm not sure you can do a whole lot better than a lineup of: Bos, Sarr, Ty, Theiro, Ivisic/Ivisic (you would lack shooting however).

Theiro's a freak.
Extremely athletic at the 2-4 spots. But shooting is sort of important in this game. And I doubt we're getting Theiro and Sarr is starting to seem like a long shot.

What would you pay for Humrichous to stay? Because Humrichous was a better player than Storr was this year. Storr was just awful and was playing for a Hall of Fame coach. I wouldn't pay Storr more than 250k.

It's the way these 4 teams play, though. Not only athletic but just so damn tenacious. Not sure the Illini could match that at all.

Heck, KJ got a standing ovation for diving at a ball against X. It was one of those extra Charlie Hustle plays that was rare.

The way DGL made a steal and went basically coast-to-coast with a dunk to ignite Illinois to a victory against the Buckeyes. That was rare.

As I am typing this, Duke just stoled the ball up top which caused Houston to foul. I don't think I witness that at all this year.

Will declare obviously, but the door is open and a check will be waiting if he wants to come back. Him and family have been very open to that idea, will likely depend on the combine.
Any idea what he is looking for coming out of the combine? Top half of first round or just first round?

10 Ivisic fouls per game should allow them to play more physical. Fletch is definitely the most important coach for them this off-season.
It became apparent when Tomi was sick that he was the most important player on the team as far as being able to compete against teams with competent bigs...meaning Maryland. Also when he picked up two fouls in the first half, things bogged down. Having 10 fouls available is a huge step up in what the team can do on defense. Not to mention JJ. And if Hummer is back and steps up a notch, we may not need another big. Or not, but don't count Hummer out just yet as he has a season of B1G play and knows what he needs to do. Never doubt a veteran player with a want to attitude willing to work his tail off.
