Wonder if there's any broken promises as it retains to the $$.
I just love that gif..........I really really do..................
I’ve looked all over the place and Will is generally in the 19-25 range in the first round. If he were to return and improve his three-point shooting (32.6% last year), strength, and grow defensively, he has a great chance to skyrocket into the lottery.I know there is all kinds of rumors and false info out there. I know we would loce to have him back , is there much truth to this?
Will Riley and his family are strongly considering a return to college, and Illinois’ NIL organization Icon for Illini is working on an offer that would be competitive compared to the NBA if he was a late first round draft pick, according to the latest Illini Inquirer podcast. Kind of surprising considering Will has appeared as high as 15 on ESPN’s mock draft with how he played late in the season. But he’s also been projected low first round, a position he could definitely improve on given more time. Exciting things ahead either way!
Dump the Mirtovic guy and go all in on Rez!
Looks like they have him recruiting 15 the year olds.Shouldn’t be recruiting … Shouldn’t even be on staff …

I’m not on social media, but a friend texted me that Yaxel removed his Michigan stuff too.
that's a shame
Didn’t do my research on that lol. That’s on me.23% 3 point shooter playing teams like Utah Tech? Not to mention crazy high turnover numbers
I'd be happy to have him back. Did we match Michigan's offer?Don't want him back, he and daddy will never be happy
Interesting. If this is genuine smoke, let's see the fire. Michigan doesn't deserve nice things.I’m not on social media, but a friend texted me that Yaxel removed his Michigan stuff too.
he's finding out first hand of scUM just being scum as we all here know from history.........sorry mr. johnson jr but it's a scUMmy world and you had to find out for yourself.....
I haven't said anything on the Morez situation yet but I'll offer an alternative that I think stands to be a middle ground between some of the differing insider viewpoints and Morez's purported interview. If the direct quotes presented on-line were not accurate, Morez and his father could have easily refuted them and made their own public statement. There is no shortage of avenues to make even a vague statement to the contrary... Based on the lack of any type of an alternate narrative, the one put forth persists. I think rightfully so.
If he had committed to Tennessee without all of the dramatic comments, sure, no harm in welcoming him back. As it played out though, I think it sends a poor message to welcome him back. Also I'd just rather have Mirkovic.I'd be happy to have him back. Did we match Michigan's offer?
If we don't want him, they'll be 50+ teams quite willing to have him.
Not going to look good if he decommits. I bet his camp got thrown for a big loop when they got Yaxel. He's gonna get the shots Morez thinks he should get. For Morez to get those jumpers, he's going to have to go to a lesser program imo.
Oooo, do we have an admissions issue now?! Those don't happen at Michigan, right?!that's a shame
Can anyone confirm that him POTENTIALLY backing out is legit? If it is, I feel for the kid. He had a home here where the fans LOVED him and he was all good with it until voices got in his ear.
Bah god that's Memphis' music! Not going to look good if he decommits. I bet his camp got thrown for a big loop when they got Yaxel. He's gonna get the shots Morez thinks he should get. For Morez to get those jumpers, he's going to have to go to a lesser program imo.
The grass isn't always greener, kid.
Are his arms growth plates open...?I’ve looked all over the place and Will is generally in the 19-25 range in the first round. If he were to return and improve his three-point shooting (32.6% last year), strength, and grow defensively, he has a great chance to skyrocket into the lottery.
He should really consider it. I suspect he and his family are.
He was a volume scorer for Grand Canyon he wouldn't be playing the same role here.23% 3 point shooter playing teams like Utah Tech? Not to mention crazy high turnover numbers
