Having Adam Miller back on the roster would make me feel like the Illinois program is regressing. No matter what role he comes back for. BH is a better 3 and D guy in my opinion. And that is saying something 😂

The UNC board is saying that Ian is asking for $3m. I mean he had like 5-6 games where he was electric. He definitely lacked consistency like most freshmen do. Didn’t play much defense. I mean if you were willing to pay $2m+ for Dix, then Jackson’s ceiling is higher but probably a lower floor too. It would be risky to pay $3m for him. But it’s not my money.
Well we are definitely in the future is now mode in college basketball and you can only play 5 guys on court at a time.

I would love to see what a KB, Jackson, Ty. Tomas, Big Z starting 5 could do on the floor. I would start Ty over Mirkovic just because you have surrounded Ty with 4 good shooters. If people refuse to guard Ty and he has not developed a jump shot then I would put in Mirkovic.

I think Sarr and Riley will not know until after NBA tryouts. If Jackson will commit now to Illinois I would take him. Bird in the hand.

Is Adam Miller going to be going into the portal? Just saw he has eligibility left and not sure why anyone would be locked in to ASU. His freshman and senior stat lines are very similar. He did raise his percentages, but the numbers are about the same. One of my biggest wonders of what could have been...
I mean, there's not many major conference programs lower than ASU, so not a lot of options out there.

You realize we’re only two days removed from the National Championship game, right? We’ve just now exited the prologue of portal season.
And... So far it's been similar to last year. Recruited and engaged with some top portal transfers and they went elsewhere. Boswell was the only one we really got. Which I am happy we did but a lot of that was because he wanted to move back home to Champaign.

He only played 1 game his freshman season and got 24/7/5? If it wasn't for an injury...something doesn't add up there. He's had multiple 30+ point games though.
I'd prefer to keep Skyy as the only Coward we've had this decade :p

Has zip to do with NIL

NIL comes from donors and individual athlete deals with outside sources (businesses and sponsors)

However, revenue sharing is coming very soon... we will be putting a portion of that 232M in a pool where Northwestern and Rutgers (and all other B1G teams) will get a cut of it

Disclaimer: someone e-slap me if any of that is not quite correct

Serious injury, shoulder, surgically repaired. Apparently surgery went well.
My youngest dislocated his shoulder a few times and then had labrum surgery.
Doc said his condition wasn't bad, surgery went well, he's young and should be good as new, able to do anything again.
Wrong. Dislocated his shoulder reaching up for a rebound and wrecked everything way worse than before.
A couple more serious surgical options remain, but I never realized how tough a shoulder injury could be.
So, I'd dig deep on this kids injury and the method of surgical repair before going forward.
