I think you and Troop have unrealistic expectations. Miller is a solid guard, can defend, shot 42.9% from 3, played nearly 30 minutes a game, average over 10 pts a game over 3 years as a starter. He was a top 40 recruit as was Boz who is also a 3 year starter in power conferences. Sarr is likely a first round pick next season. If you don't think that's a solid back court and want better then we need some help raising about 5 million extra bucks. Boswell and Sarr would be likely as good a pair as in the country not just the B10. I'd love this back court and the line up construction after how Mirkovic and Sarr played last night and how Boz finished the year. Would it have been nice to add Toppin or others with a blank check? Sure but that's not how this works. We have a football program now and there comes a point where resources are limited. I mean now much better than 3 year power 5 starter thats now 42.9 % from 3 and a solid defender .

He's not a 42.9% 3 point shooter. For his career he's more like 34 or 35%. Sarr has never played CBB. Ace averages under 2 assists a game. KB is our only point guard. I'm not saying he is a scrub, I hope we add nore than Ace and Sarr.

He shot 43.9% from 3 last season. I'm sure he put in work. Maybe he changed something in his shot. But regardless, how can you afford what you are talking about? Bottom line is he has played in 117 games and started 113. He is a good shooter a solid defender. He is much better than you are giving him credit for. BU is interested for darn good reasons.

I really doubt, and hope, that BU is not telling Ace that he would be a starter here. OTOH, I would hope he would tell him he could start if he earned it in practice and games. My main concern is still that we don't have "that guy" who could get a bucket when you really need it. IMHO, Cedric Coward could be that guy. Sarr maybe later in the year, but this year showed us that it's a bit of a rollercoaster having a freshman in that role.

He's being sold on replacing DGL and having a chance to start if he earns it. They are still going to add two more guys.

What’s does BPR signify?
It's basically an overall estimate of the value a player brings to their team when they're on the court that tries to remove the gaudy numbers aspect, like an advanced +/-. For example, a player might not score, but his teammates might score better when he's on the court, so his offensive BPR increases, causing his BPR to increase. Or a player might have a ton of blocks, but that's because he plays bad defense that allows opponents to get up a lot of shots, so his defensive BPR is lower than you'd expect.

What am I talking about? I am talking about adding 1 or 2 more guys besides Sarr and Ace. And I'm not alone in that. Most of the discussion here has been about needing to add more. Those connected most to the program are talking about adding a stud transfer.

If BU wants Ace great, I just hope he's not the only one they add.

Adam MIller. A 1.82 BPR this year on EvanMiya. And people were mad at Ben Humrichous with his 3.44. Absolutely ridiculous.
Exactly. People trying to create this narrative Miller is good 🤣

Watched every Sun Devil game here the past 2 years and he's not a good or even average high major D1 starter. Or anything close to it. He's also not a PG.

Team is doomed if this guy is even mentioned as a remote starter or he's their "plan at backup PG". .

He's got 120 D1 games averaging a robust 38% FG, 34% 3FG as an undersized shooting guard.

This may be a notable move if we were Bradley or Illinois State.
