Hypothetically… if it were up to you… who would we fill each of these three roles with?

Storr is lookin soo much hotter now that it's closing time and we struck out on the pretty girl.

He'll go elsewhere and we can hear all the red flags after the fact.

We will then pivot to a high school 5 star prospect that we will overpay to reclass.

Didn't watch a lot of FSU games, so I'm not super familiar with Watkins' game, but some of the scouting reports are not very kind to him. Read some stuff about lack of effort, poor defensive awareness, etc. Can someone who's familiar with his game (more than just how many points he's scored) give us what he brings to the table. I just don't know that he's the alpha that this team severely needs.

Sorry if it was already mentioned, but paying a young unproven guy way more than the guys that you already negotiated deals with can be a team killer. You might be able to afford him, but there could be some animosity or you have to go back to all the other players and up their pay. You could get caught in a vicious cycle. Also, take it from Coleman, when everyone knows your big bag, the expectations can be unattainable and lead to major disappointment and hate.

Agree, Chester Frazier was booed out of the Assembly Hall for 3 of his 4 years.

If you can get a big money wing like Watkins. I think someone like Kennard Davis or Malik Thomas would be a good fit next to him.

A buy low opportunity on someone like Rylan Griffin and putting him in an offense that operates a bit more like Alabama could also be a good value add. He's been pretty atrocious defensively but all the tools are there.

I still like Tyon Grant-Foster a lot though could probably use more shooting. I haven't heard much of anything about Blake Harper but I think he would fit the offense well and provides positional size that Brad seems love.

1. JW will find the money to bring in top tier assistant coaches. Brad needs to eliminate the coaching nepotism, crap defensive schemes, and horrible in game decisions. Bring in a couple proven, highly skilled coaches to help with player development, strategy, schemes, and in game decisions. Brad needs to focus on self awareness and realize that if coaches don’t want to be here then he is likely part of, or most of, that problem.
We've been saying some variation of this, collectively, since at least mid-season, if not well before. The fact that we're several weeks into the offseason and have yet to see any changes with the coaching staff, and no inkling of coming changes, is extremely concerning. Perhaps BU wants to have everything lined up before it makes itself public? I doubt that fully explains the silence. We've would've heard scuttlebutt one way or another. That leads me to believe that Brad is not going to make any staff changes prior to next year. If that ends up being true, it may be the biggest black eye on Underwood's tenure to date. People have rightly nitpicked the in-game adjustments for a long time, but BU has excelled at the program building aspect of college bball, which is far more important than any in-game Xs and Os. If he starts to lose his edge on the program side, then faith in him is going to drop quickly (as evidenced by the tidbits from Indy).

I'll have faith that BU will right the ship until proven definitively otherwise (i.e., until we don't see a change by start of season), but he's running out of time and losing interest from the parties he absolutely cannot lose. Things need to start happening quickly.

The not so funny thing is all the criticism of BU is a only a couple years away for BB when he doesn't deliver a NC. I mean that is the standard all will be judge on right?

One of my law school friends once told me that whenever she gets really stressed out she remembers that we are all going to die one day and in relation to that, none of what is stressing you out in that moment matters at all. Not even a little bit.

Disturbing and calming at the same time.

One problem has been addressed that bothered me at least. Mirk is 255 n will be bigger and be the same size or bigger next year than TKR. Mirk is only 19 and growing and is very similar to TKR in many ways.

Is TKR high flying athlete? Nope and he us almost done in college. ILLINI FANS should be excited about The Mirk!
