Haggerty price starts at $3 million … And it’ll be closer to 4 at the end I’m sure …

Andrej price won’t be cheap either … $2.5 million is what I got told a certain team out West offered …

Give me PJ, andrej, and Monsanto and I'm cool with that.

I really think haggerty at 3 or 3.5 is worth it more than Sarr.

Looking at his stats and how he did against top 50 teams, this seems to be a let down from the hype. Ben had a better 3pt percentage last year.

He can get off his own shot I guess? But seems a bit overhyped for sure.

Ben also shot like 34% from 2pt

That team isn’t even sniffing the second round, let alone the Final Four. I think we’re going to end up like Iowa this year—I don’t see this team making the tournament. There’s no “go-to guy,” and every successful team has one. Andrej isn’t that guy. I’d take Watkins over Andrej any day. We also lack grit and toughness—this team is going to be soft.

Haggerty has the weirdest game/ shot out of anyone I've seen in the portal so for.

We'd still need a stud/playmaker. Andrej and Ace is a middle of the Big10 team all variables beiing equal.

Andrej seems like a nice player….not sure I love it if he’s our “big splash.” I realize it’s a 2 way street and guys have to want to come here but if the $$ is about equal I would rather have Watkins or Haggerty. Just think that’s what our roster is missing is an athlete that can just go get one if we need it. And I think we also need an athlete on the perimeter to keep guys out of the paint given the lack of athleticism in our front court.

Just feels like a very Iowa like roster build. Might boost Tyler’s resume with another top 15 offense, but not sure the team is built to go far in March. JMHO.

I’ve talked about the Miller situation already … He’s got our final offer … It’s less than some of this other offers … But I think he wants to win and he wants to do it here … But can he turn down all that money in his last year … We’ll see … Big decision …

As far as Andrej … I expect him to be an Illini … If for some reason he’s not … I’ll have some serious concerns …

If that was indeed the plan, I suspect it's no longer viable due to everyone'e price going up. My guess would be, if we get Stojakovic and Miller, we'd be looking for just 1 more moneyball guard to compete with Miller and Ty for the last starting spot. But that's just my outsider guess...

Is the BIG bad defensively? I know you can't put a ton of stock in d-rating, but a lot of players seem below average.
Ok, checking teamrankings, it seems the BIG doesn't do well. Maryland was the only top-10 from the BIG, and MSU was the only other BIG team in the top 25.

Yes. He is basically a more athletic Domask, love that comp. Would be a monster get-he's a first team all league guy and a possible AA next year.
