I'm assuming the staff knows there is a chance we could miss out on AS, if so I also assume they have a back up plan. Wondering what that is right now

Let's go all in on Jamir Watkins! (Although there's the chance that he stays in the Draft.) Insiders: Are we still in the bidding for Watkins? What's his price at the moment?

Maybe he isn't good enough to play for Illinois? But he's good enough to play for BYU. Or Illinois couldn't afford to pay him his asking price? But BYU paid it. Davis played 2 years at Southern Illinois in Carbondale, after playing 4 years at Vashon HS in St. Louis. So, yes, he was in our backyard. But I'm guessing that Illinois would prefer to pay MORE money to a European player instead. Oh well....

My personal preference would be to go get Fland now- there is mutual interest, he’s not a first round pick, so it would benefit him to come back to college. Sell him on giving him the KJ roll where he plays on ball and off ball some. I know some don’t like the fit but he is just too good at basketball not to make it work- you can play three guard lineups, we have Ty to guard bigger SFs we’ll have so much offense it almost won’t matter - Fland is an excellent on ball defender as well. He might actually help us more than AS would

Then you get the donors excited enough to put in more money for AS and be a FF contender. Essentially flip the order given AS is taking too long

I haven’t posted since Wednesday about AS. I mentioned how everyone in contact with him said his visit went great. He had a smile all the time. Laughing and enjoying the team. I said sounds like they just needed to agree to terms (NIL). My personal thought I sai was I think we’ll hear something very soon. It was known to all that he had other visits. I’m not hearing much but across the middle is he just st checking boxes, or he’s chasing more money. I feel he’s making sure at the end of the day that he picks the team that gives him the best chance to play his game.
Which we definitely do!

Yes! Then Cooper Flagg decides he really can't live with not winning a national championship, and joins the team as well!

It is astonishing as to the huge effect one college hoopster, not elite but pretty solid with experience, can have on the GNP of our country. I am pretty sure most on this board are making no contribution in the past three days at a minimum.
