Just going by common sense. If Stojakovic takes other visits after Illinois then I doubt he is coming. Not sure what the other plans are after that but I would hit the reclass market hard.

Riley was obviously a good find. And Fears had a great year too. Staff can clearly identify talent that can play at this level and we certainly need some

Minor disagreement here: It was widely reported that the staff didn't want/think Fears should reclassify, so they weren't willing to turn the offense over to him last season. I'd consider that a miss (even if they did eventually replace him with KJ).

I just don't understand why deadlines are not given to make a decision and then move on to someone else. You are just enabling and just making the whole situation worse by allowing teams getting played against each other to get more money.

And then people would complain that we are settling for lesser players and overpaying for that talent. When you are going after the elite talent, the player has the leverage not the school.

Exploding offers work better in a situation where the one making the offer has more leverage / knowledge of the market than the other.

Ever since Drake Powell declared for the draft, UNC has been very aggressive in their pursuit of Stojakovic….they have more money now to use on a big portal addition.

Illinois is still the team to beat though….
