I know that complete team makeovers after each season can be hard to follow and even painful for some. I really enjoyed watching the TSJ teams, but I also loved watching last' year's team even though they were completely different teams and styles. And I'm really excited to watch next year's team even though it will be lots of new faces and perhaps even another change in style of play.
Take a fully healthy Tomi, the Kylan that showed up the last few weeks of the season, add the Euro newcomers and welcome back Rodgers...that could be a very dangerous mix of height, skills and toughness. I'm in the camp of those expecting Ty to be an important piece of a team that will contend in the B1G and on the national scene.
At least next year we will have familiar faces playing some key roles.

LOL. After playing on a team ranked from 10-20 in Illinois with 3 future Div.1 players as a soph, by my senior year, at 6'2", I was the only player in the rotation over 6' tall. None of us would ever be described as fast, quick, or athletic....but we were all good students who had played together since 5th grade. My go to description of that team was that we could not beat anyone with our athleticism, but fooled them all because we were deceptively slow. Finished the season at 21-5 while going 3-0 against the two teams who played in the sectional final.

Here's hoping that Andre's parents, Peja and Aleka, make themselves as at home at State Farm Center as did the Domask Family. Besides having an NBA superstar as his father, Andre's mother was a Greek Supermodel. Pru, you might want to do some internet research on her earlier in her modeling career, but I'll stick with the PG photo from his parents wedding so that everyone can recognize them at home games and welcome them to the ILLINI family!

P.S. By the way, who would have thought that the south farms would actually have been a recruiting advantage over the Bay Area?
A quote from Peja, who once revealed that he spends his free time on a farm, as a farmer, where he drives a tractor and looks after sheep.
"City people wouldn't understand it, but this is my way of life," he once said.

I would start this group:

Petrovic
Boswell
Stojakovic backup Davis/Hummer
Mirkovic- backup Rodgers
Ivisic. Backup-Ivisic

I feel good with Boswell in one backcourt spot, Ivisic at the 5, and Stojakovic at the 3. And we have plenty of options at the 4 (Rodgers/Ivisic/Mirkovic). The biggest question mark to me is the #1, and whether Petrovic is good enough there.
You nor I nor anyone has seen these guys play together…..once they get on the court the lineup will become clearer

Dude is thicc

It's a credit to both him and BU that they were able to put the marriage back together, surely upon both realizing how true this was.
All I ever heard was that he redshirted to change his body and work on point guard skills. I must have missed something, was he planing to leave after redshirting?
