Constanza and Suigo alone would constitute a very good Illini recruiting class for 2026. But Illinois has also been connected to some very good Guards in that Class. It would be so nice to also sign a talented PG from the Class of 2026.
I hope that Illinois stays loyal to 2027 PF Jaylan Mitchell in its recruiting. We were in on him early, and if we stick with him through his injury rehabilitation, that loyalty should eventually pay off with a commitment from Mitchell.
And that's a heckuva starting line-up, IMO
If they don't have to log heavy minutes, that's even better so who cares who starts or not?

Perhaps the insiders have some knowledge on this subject, but with the revenue sharing officially taking effect on July 1st and the NIL (in theory) being limited on that same day, that means collectives have the rest of the month to spend like there’s no tomorrow without any restrictions. Is it possible — maybe even likely — that Brad and Co are trying to ink players such as Luigi, Constanza and others before the deadline hits, thereby locking them in early while the players can still make crazy money?
Whatever happened with Colgate Guard Jalen Cox? The 6'3", 165-pound Cox averaged 11.9/4.4/3.9 in the 24-25 season (as a Sophomore) for Colgate. (Where new Illinois Assistant Coach Camryn Crowder coached last season.) Cox shot 50.4% on FGs, including 29.4% on 3-pointers, and 77.5% on FTs. (But he did shoot 39.4% on 3s for Colgate as a Freshman in the 23-24 season.)

I don't understand the connection between Ty and Z when they're not at all the same player or even bodytype. Ty is 6'6". Z is 7'2". One of the traits you like to see for power forwards is height.If Ty isn't a 4 then what is he? Obviously if Ty isn't a 4 then neither is Z, and you're down to Ben starting again.... and that's not going to happen.
Most of the roster outlook from the media had our starting unit: Petrovic, Boswell, Stojakovic, Ty, Tomi.
