You may be 100% right, I'm not claiming any kind of confidence otherwise.

But remember, there is no doubt that Ty has had opportunities to transfer to places where the system DOES fit his skills, took a redshirt season with an eye toward pursuing them, and then we paid up to keep him.

Why would we do that if we don't foresee a significant role for him?

And as it pertains to starting, Jake Davis starts despite being our 7th leading minutes getter and 8th leading scorer. Sometimes it's just about structuring the minutes across a game.
Role is a LOT different than starting

Agreed, Mirk has the 4 spot on lockdown and Andre should get that spot back at the 3 next year id hope unless Brad stays with Jake for spacing. Ty is loved but he cant drive like Andre or shoot like Jake. It will be very interesting to see where Ty may fit given his lack of shooting with Andre, Mirk and the top recruits and transfers we have coming in. Ty is certainly able to play at this level. However, roster construction, particularly having multiple shooters on the floor for spacing is vital imo.
How many years of eligibility will Ty have after this year?

This is kind of guy I’d personally prefer. Followed his stuff in HS, had some really unfortunate injury issues.

Not an EDG …

Couldn’t take hard coaching from Sampson … Don’t think he’d take it any better here …

Houston is one of those programs (very similar to us) … Where if a kid leaves there, they typically don’t become a superstar elsewhere … It’s usually not a program problem if that makes sense …

Think Cox would start … If he came … I’ve not been very quiet that he’s been a target all year … We’re in a great spot there …

We’re going to go get a couple studs in the portal because frankly we’re going to have the funds to do it and Brad wants to get back to where we are right now …
Not that I doubted Josh/Brad would, but very encouraging to hear they are striking while the iron is hot to push us into elite of elite program territory. Seems like we've had to be very strategic with our budget in the past and couldn't push the top pocket programs for the 5 star recruit/transfers consistently.

Exciting to see what they can do selling top level team success, yearly producing NBA draft talent, and a top level budget. Come be the next Keaton Wagler must be a fun sell to make on the recruiting trail right now.

We’ve come into some additional funds just based off this run …

There’s some mega donors that will get the itch to give Brad a fatter check … Everyone wants to freaking win … And now Brad has gotten us to the spot those older donors remember … The good ol’ days … And it’s time to mash the f’ing gas …

We have to get more athletic. That’s the #1 goal this offseason after we win the national championship April 6.
This is a wild comment. "We're going to win the national championship..but that's not good enough we NEED to get more athletic"

Did Quentin Coleman visit yesterday? 247 says his visit was scheduled for March 30th.
