It is. The visit two schools part isn't up there for no reason.

I really like 6'4" junior PG Rowan Brumbaugh of Tulane. He'd be exactly the type of experienced guard that could play with and alongside Coleman and Morillo, while also serving as a mentor to our young freshmen. I know he's not ranked as high as John Blackwell, nor does he have as high of a ceiling as Blackwell. But I think that Illinois should consider putting a recruiting "full court press" on Brumbaugh now. I'm not sure that Illinois can afford to wait (too long) on a decision from Blackwell... and miss out on a transfer like Brumbaugh. Of course, I'd withdraw that advice IF the Illini are sure that Blackwell will sign (and sign very soon!) with Illinois basketball. Heck, maybe Illinois could somehow end up with BOTH players! ☺️

Wonder who those 2 schools could be … 🤔
Never mind I see that Louisville already answered my question in an earlier post

If Flory Bidunga picks Duke (he’s visiting there) he will try to get Blackwell to follow. Side story to watch.
I never like it when we are competing with a "Blue Blood" and there is a lot of time before the announced commitment date.

Bidunga will have no impact on Blackwell.

Thanks for the insight. We'll be watching. (Just another reason, in my opinion, why Illinois might also want to pursue Tulane transfer in the interim.)

I know recruiting is fluid and nothing is final but boy do I prefer hearing this tone
