What about the Wisconsin big?
Heading to South Carolina …
What about the Wisconsin big?
There is a 5" height difference between them.Bingo …
Tried to hint at it earlier this AM …
Hate seeing Ty go but the role just likely wasn’t going to be there for him next year …
I do think Lee could step into that role …
Any thoughts on likely landing spots or best fits?
Va Tech with Chester? Takes a visit to UK report back how weird it is?
I guarantee he knows... With his dad's NBA connections, I'm sure he gets regular feedback. The only thing really holding him back from getting there is a reliable 3 point shot. (even if its just from the short corner) He doesn't have to be great from out there, but he has to be a threat. To go along with everything else I just said about Andrej, with a full offseason to work on his game, I fully expect his three-point percentage to be at a much more median number. I certainly think somewhere in the 30-33% range is very doable. Better than that and he becomes very, very difficult to guard.
Stojakovic is priority one for me personally.
do you want to play against him next year? i sure don't. hate to see him in madison, iowa city or Bloomington.Ty is Illini forever. Despite not playing was a big part of establishing and maintaining culture the last few years. Definition of EDG.
With that being said, was not expecting to need him next year. Hopefully he finds a great fit and will succeed. I'll be rooting for him.
If he joins either of these schools, I will have to plan for a short trip to Milwaukee or Chicago to watch a game or two of his.A Big East school would make sense I think …
Marquette, DePaul, maybe even Xavier … Xavier could really use a wing defender off the bench after their recent additions …
Priority 1 … Get Andrej deal completed …
Priority 2 … Get the Blackwell deal completed …
ShakaBall would suit him, that's a pretty good idea.If he joins either of these schools, I will have to plan for a short trip to Milwaukee or Chicago to watch a game or two of his.
That literally makes me
Ty is like 6'6 and Lee is listed at 6'4There is a 5" height difference between them.
Math check: 6'6" minus 6'4"= 2 inches.There is a 5" height difference between them.
Do we have a pivot ready IF Blackwell’s a miss?Priority 1 … Get Andrej deal completed …
Priority 2 … Get the Blackwell deal completed …
his dad?Ideally we retain Dre (plus get Blackwell) and Dre just finds someone he can trust that knows a thing or two about shooting mechanics to improve his 3 pt%![]()
You must not be on X because Illinination is convinced it’s one or the other right now…Priority 1 … Get Andrej deal completed …
Priority 2 … Get the Blackwell deal completed …
I really thought Lee was shorter than that (or less tall, since he is taller than I am either way, can't really call him short).Ty is like 6'6 and Lee is listed at 6'4
Yeah... If Ty were 6'9" he'd be an All-Conference type player. He's just not quite big enough to be a great 4, where his skill set would really shine.Ty is like 6'6 and Lee is listed at 6'4
Morillo tooPeople will say we have a huge hole at the backup 4 (if you believed Ty could play there in the first place), but we don’t.
Zvonimir will get the reps there when Mirk is out. We absolutely need him on the court more.
Not really a surprise. Would have had limited minutes. And last time he was faced with a limited minutes prognosis, he decided to sit “to work on his point guard skills.” Yeah, right. If that were true, why were we so desperate to get a PG last portal season?Ty to the portal per ESPN
It's an illusion, because our team is so stinking big... If you aren't weirdly tall, you look short on TV.I really thought Lee was shorter than that (or less tall, since he is taller than I am either way, can't really call him short).
