Is it crazy? That the first 1 and dones at Illinois were KJ & Riley and about to add Wagler to that list. I am not counting Richmond who only played freshman year in Champaign and then was done (not as in NBA). Go Illinois.

I go back to Downey, Brody, Burwell, Pierce, Starnz, etc. I'm not going to be around forever so I hope there's a Championship in the near future.
Downey and Brody were my back yard hoops teammates as we won the B$G every day with me hitting the winning basket !!!!

they really really were...............

Anyone know if Blackwell grew up an Illini fan? I know his dad went here but was he rooting for us as a kid?

Good lord, what people will do to get out of a colonoscopy!

PSA ALERT:

Seriously though, just get it done. I had colorectal cancer at 41 years old. No genetic disposition. No...um... recreational exploration of that region... Just happened.
People are getting it at younger ages every year.

It literally saved my life. (5+years cancer free)

Was scrolling while driving and this post startled me so much I accidentally ran over a Northwestern fan. Am now a federal fugitive wanted for violation of 16 U.S.C. 1538. Pray for me.

Eh, there's been a lot of changes in the law. I'm not even sure that's a crime anymore...

They’re after him … But if we want the kid and went full go rodeo …

North Carolina can’t hang with us financially …
Can’t They Get Their Tobacco To Market Anymore? 😆

I’m not trying to be a wisenheimer…I just wonder how that’s even possible. What with the talking heads telling me they’re the OG blue blood at every turn and all.

The difference is that when people were saying that about Brad, he was 4-7 at Illinois and had made a second weekend at another school. Pat Kelsey has had enough opportunity to prove it in my eyes.

I will say that not having his best player in the tournament this year was a bummer. But the expectations for the season were not met… again
I mean Brad's a better coach than Kelsey and always has been. Just pointing out that he was subject to some of the same criticisms.

People let the coin-flippy nature of tournament success drive too much of their thinking. You see this in the opposite direction with someone like Eric Musselman whose past runs in the tournament blind people to him being very much in that Lorenzo Romar/Travis Ford/Rick Stansbury lineage that there's just no use for in the new college basketball.
